In 2012, Mobile Device Doctors was created to provide our customers and other St. Louis-​area businesses with top-​notch tablet and phone repair services at affordable prices. I had an iPhone 6 and an iPad Air with cracked screens. The iPhone 6 wasn’t all that bad, but the iPad has an huge chunk missing from the top of the screen. Not only did they replace both screens, but they did it in about 4 hours. The price was also the least expensive I found! The gentleman working the counter was courteous and helpful. God forbid I need it, but if I have any other issues with my phone screen. I will be going right to Mobile Device Doctors!

This is the best phone repair in St. Louis. They are quick, well-​priced, and brutally honest about cases and habits. They are super knowledgable, they put the Apple Store to shame. They fixed my mother’s IPhone 5c screen in an hour. I recommend that EVERYONE should go here.

I had a good experience here. They diagnosed my phone’s problem accurately, fixed it, and it’s been working ever since. Since I had an older version of the iphone, the price was pretty good, too. My only complaint was that it took several days, since they didn’t have the parts for my old phone in stock, and they had to order the parts before fixing it. If you have a newer phone, they’ll have the parts ready, and it’ll probably be a quick experience. Anyway, they seemed to know what they were doing, their price was low, and my phone has been problem-​free since I got it back.

I absolutely destroyed the screen on my phone when I was out for a walk in my mom’s neighborhood. The screen was literally just totaled. I went here to get it fixed. The turnaround time was delayed due to needing the parts to arrive in the mail. I used the Unilocal check in coupon which saved me $ 10. I would recommend this to all wanting to avoid waiting in lines at the apple store for the genius bar to show up an hour after your scheduled time.

Found this place through other positive Unilocal reviews. Not going to lie, driving up to it felt a little sketchy, but once inside, any unease went away. The attendant was very knowledgable without being condescending. The display of broken devices is also pretty impressive! Dropped off our iPad Mini at 3pm, was able to use the Unilocal check-​in coupon, and they had it fixed by 6:30pm that evening. Amazing! We did get an Otterbox from there to prevent future breaks, and we haven’t been so pleased with the responsiveness of that cover, but that’s a negative for Otterbox, not this company. Hopefully we won’t have to go back ever, but if we do, we have no reservations about their service. Thanks!

This place was amazing!
Dan was excellent. I got my phone screen fixed at foxpaw originally and not even a week later the screen cracked again. My friend googled places that were a little cheaper and we came across this place. When we got there Dan was the only one there and possibly in the weeds but was still very friendly and very helpful. He said the phone wouldn’t be done until close, which didn’t concern me. Around 5:00 he called and said it would be done around 5:45 and wanted to show me what was really going on. When we got there, he showed me some irregularities with the phone. I had already mentioned to them that my ear speaker didn’t work since I got my screen replaced Apparently foxpaw replaced the speaker and it wasn’t the right screws and not the right speaker that comes with the phone. So my question is why did they feel the need to replace it? Even though Dan was a lone soldier he was perfect. The way he explained everything was fantastic and very helpful. I recommend this place 100%! Please give it a try!

Don’t call anywhere else, I already did and this is the place to go!
I called this place first and was quoted $ 79 for a screen repair for the iphone5. Called to compare rates at foxpaw, UbreakIt IfixIt, CPR Cell phone repair, and they all quoted me $ 109. And then UbreakIt IfixIt offered to do the repair for $ 75 claiming that they offer the best possible price and while I appreciated the gesture, it was slightly unnerving that they know they’re overcharging and are able to shift pricing that way. Their warranty is also only 90 days while MDD offers a 6 month warranty. Bill from MDD was up front from the beginning about offering me a reasonable price and he owns the business, not a corporation.
Support the local guys, it matters that we have people (not big corporations) trying to cut a living from their skill-​set with integrity!

Found this little gem hidden off a quiet street in Maplewood and they definitely have the best price and service of all the places I shopped around. Only $ 100 to fix my iPhone 6 screen. They were slammed when I walked in and still got it done in less then 2 hours. Highly recommend this place for any cell phone repair!

These guys were really great. I came in at 6, an hour before closing. They had my phone fixed by 6:45 and they were the cheapest price around by far. Fast, friendly, and efficient. Very grateful for their service and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I got my IPad fixed from here I was reasonably happy with the service. I got it fixed on Friday and it was cracked by Wednesday. Other than that it service was fine. I even changed cases like I was directed to, and I am for sure I didn’t drop it.

Took a phone in for a screen replacement and they replaced it the same day. I haven’t had to do it before, so I can’t tell you how the price compared.
However, the guy who helped us, who is the owner, was quite dogmatic and pedantic about what he *thought* he knew, which turned out to be incorrect (whether the phone was a knock-​off or an original). I was skeptical about what he told me, so I did some research of my own, and he was wrong, despite being quite adamant about it. It wouldn’t have killed him to say, «You know, this might be a knock off. but I’m not sure. Let me look into it and I’ll contact you.»
Fortunately the repair didn’t depend on that particular opinion, but if it had, his false opinion would have been a problem, or at least it would have been until he did some actual research on it.

The owner, I believe his name was Bill, was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely knowledgable about iPhones and iPads. I’m from philadelphia, and after a night of many beverages I dropped my phone and broke the screen. The next day, my iPad stopped working. I went to apple and they wanted a small fortune to fix my devices. I found st Lou comp docs on Unilocal and I’m glad I did. Not only did he fix my screen, he made it rose gold and the back is silver/​mirror. My iPad needed a new power button and he replaced that for me as well. All in all I had then both fixed within 2 hours and for a great price. This all happened 3 months ago and everything is still working great. Def give this place a chance!!! The owner knows his stuff.

I went to STL Comp Docs today because my two and a half year old iPhone 4S’ power/​lock screen button quit working during the weekend– either from normal ware or from minor drops throughout the years.
Not wanting to adjust to the on-​screen assisted lock button, I decided to go here to get the button replaced. The repair was only $ 40 (less than Wireless Toyz and CPR) and I was able to pick up the fixed phone within 1 ½ hours. The repair also comes with a 90 day parts warranty.
I’d recommend this place to anyone who is needing reasonably priced repairs on their iPhone.

Cheapest place in town for phone/​tablet screen repairs — I checked a bunch of different places before going with STL Comp Docs. A bit hard to find since they are tucked away near the railroad tracks in Maplewood, but completely worth it. Small and informal office, but I guess that is why they can charge less than everyone else.
Replaced my completely shattered Galaxy SIII screen for $ 70 and it only took them barely more than an hour. Like them on Facebook and get $ 10 off!
