McDonald’s

My drive through experience has always been fine. Yesterday, however, I went inside to eat and had problems prompting my review.
I ordered my meal and a shake, paid, and waited without incident. When I got my things, my shake wasn’t there, and I politely pointed it out to the same cashier that took my order.
This 17 y/​o boy raised his voice at me, and yelled, «you didn’t order a shake!»
«I did. You may not have heard me, may not have even charged me, but yes, I did.»
«No, YOU DIDN’T.»
Excuse me? No, you take my order, take my money, close your disrespectful mouth, and sit your $ 7.75/hr ass down, little boy. I didn’t say this, but boy was I thinking it as his disrespectful tirade continued.
Then the boy comes out from behind the register and stands 6″ behind me while another cashier charges me for the shake and gets it started. It was EXTREMELY uncomfortable, but I managed not to say anything since the female cashier that took over was polite and respectful.
Crazy. I won’t be back. The guy that was an ass was a thin, gay black male who wore a jean jacket over his uniform.

Worst McDonald’s imaginable no longer has red box needs armed security and stay out of men’s room unless your cruising.
Not much else to say but a true embarrassing excuse for a McDonald’s.
I didn’t eat here after I saw the cook playing with himself on the line.

I know, I know… it’s a McDonald’s (reference more pithy musings from my other McDonald’s review). But this one is especially irritating. Consistently unhappy employees, cold or improperly made food, and inattention to orders.
I found it especially irritating once when I ordered some breakfast burritos. I asked for extra packets of mild salsa and the lady at the window grumpily quipped, «It’s in the bag.» I said, «I know, but I would like some extra packets of salsa… I use a lot of salsa.» It would have taken less of her time to just grab a few packets and put them in the bag but, instead, she got pretty immediately angry and repeated (louder this time) that there were already salsa packets in the bag. I, too, repeated myself, pointing out that sometimes a gal just like extra salsa. That didn’t fly. I gave up because, after all, salsa’s not like my lifeblood or anything. But seriously… why couldn’t I just have extra salsa.
McDonald’s are everywhere… go to another one. This one is especially rock-​bottomy.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast sandwich and they gave me an Egg McMuffin with a grey egg on it. No idea how they managed to make the egg look so unappetizing but they did. I took it back to the counter 100% intact and showed it to the employee so that I could get another one. He gave it to one of the guys in the kitchen area who slapped a new egg on the exact same sandwich and handed it back, not even wrapped properly.
I walked back to my table and opened up the mess to discover another grey egg and a thoroughly mangled sandwich from the trauma of the blunt-​force remake it had experienced. I went back to the counter with the 100% intact (albeit roughed-​up) sandwich again and asked the manager to simply swap it out for a different sandwich instead… one with a folded egg instead of a round egg. I received it and walked back to the table again. The sandwich was basically intact but not giving off enough heat from any of its components to even begin to melt the cheese. Yuck.
As if all of this weren’t bad enough, I also got to witness the same manager yelling at a customer about having to pay extra for a second thing of syrup with the pancakes she ordered. Seriously!?!
There are plenty of Golden Arches Supper Club locations nearby… don’t make the same mistake I did by stopping at this one.

It’s a McD’s. Double drive-​through makes for an expedient experience. The big downfall for this is it’s placement. It is in literally inside a parking lot, making it a little difficult to locate during the busiest times of the day. Other than that, once again, it’s a McD’s.
