Simply put this is a wonderful place to live in Lafayette Square! The management has created a beautiful environment that is conducive to social activities, security, and spacious living quarters. It is clean, quiet and there is security on site 24 hours a day! Better yet four-legged Children are more than welcome! The staff is warm friendly and always informative. They offer many wonderful amenities to include secured parking in a well lit lot, dog walking areas, package retrieval and much more. As part of my pet care business, I have slept there and you don’t hear any noise or sound from other apartments! It is well insulated and a wonderful place to call home in a beautiful neighborhood!!! I can, without reservation, highly recommend Lofts at Lafayette!

The neighbors above us no longer live there and the new neighbors are extremely careful about the noise that they make. Once in awhile we will hear a squeaky toy but that’s honestly entertaining. That was a major problem for us and now that it’s fixed, we love living here again!

My husband and I did extensive research on loft living in St. Louis. We spent a lot of time online, making phones calls, and visiting the sites that interested us. I created a spreadsheet to compare: location, safety, move-in fees, monthly rent, square footage, pet policy, pet fee, location, parking situation, parking fees, and amenities. When we first visited the Lofts at Lafayette we knew it was the perfect place for us. It had everything we were looking for, but it was a little bit more than what we wanted to pay each month in rent. So, we kept looking around. We returned to the lofts a second time to refresh our memory. Again, we couldn’t figure out financially how to make it work with our budget. So, we kept looking. Eventually, my husband and I put pen to paper and decided to give up some luxury items(Sportscenter, etc.) to make the Lofts work. We visited for the third time and signed the contract. Stephanie Huffman, the property manager was our primary contact. She gave us a tour each of the three times we came to visit. She was very patient and understanding of finding a place we loved and felt comfortable affording. She answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns. We’ve now lived here for a few months and couldn’t be happier with our choice. At the time we rented The Lofts were priced a little higher than some of the other lofts, but now I see why and it is worth every penny. First, I feel very safe here. There are security camera’s, gated parking, locked doors, and a security guard here at night. I walk my dog to the park two times a day and after dark we just stay in the gated area. Safety was my biggest concern moving to the city, but it is now a non-issue. I feel free safe at The Lofts. I wish we had made this move years ago. Also, it is so clean here. The elevators, hallways, floors, you name it always looks so nice. When it snows the sidewalks are salted and cleared. They are very pet friendly. The first month we moved in our dog received«Pet of the Month.» Our dog and cat are very happy in our 900 square foot space. Two parking spots are included in our rent and there is always a place to park. Most places we looked at had one fee after another, the Lofts had little to no fees. They made our decision easy. They were friendly and it was a low cost to entry. We also really wanted to have a nice workout space. Many of the places we visited had a few treadmills and bikes. That does not a workout area make. The Lofts have mats, dumbbells, machines, towel service, etc. Since we’ve moved in we’ve had the opportunity to work with Erin Brocker, the leasing consultant. She is so welcoming and easy to get along with. We’ve also put in a maintenance request and it was addressed the same day. Andrew and Evan, the maintenance guys, are very helpful and friendly. When it comes to places to live I would say that we are pretty particular and do our homework before moving in to just anywhere. The Lofts has by far met our expectations. I have never written a review for an apartment before but really felt like this place deserved one.
