Loft Studios salon is the 2nd location of Salon lofts in St. Louis of 8 years. Both owned by Jennifer Burris, a local hairstylist in the St. Louis area for 22 years.

I have been in the salon industry for 22 years. Working in salons as a hairstylist I saw a void in the industry. Giving stylist the opportunity to become their own boss. I decided to open a salon studio rental concept, named Salon Lofts. My grand opening of Salon Lofts was in 2002 in Columbus Ohio. Since I’ve sold the business there and reopened in my home town St. Louis MO. Salon Lofts Maplewood opened in 2005. Being successful with the first location, I decided to open another location. In 2013 I opened my 2nd location, named Loft Studios salon & spa having the same concept.

Genesis by Rosalyn hooked me up! She is thorough fast kind and on point with some scissors! Went from natural fro to natural straight in no time. Rosalyn is professional. Her space is clean and she plays some relaxing music to fit feeling good and in your new do. Much props to Rosalyn in Loft Studios!

My latest hair style has either been a top knot, a low bun or a ponytail. Why? Because the grays were showing, the layers turned into one big layer and my bangs hung like two curtains on either side of my face. So I put a call in to my personal super hero (& therapist)…my hair stylist Jennifer Burris @ Loft Studios.
Jen has been doing my hair for 20 years. That’s TWO DECADES, folks. I stick with her because she is up to speed on the latest hair trends & products, does a great job with color & cut, takes the time to look over the 47 pictures I bring in of the style I think I want, & then always convinces me to just «let her do her thing.» Which in the end, always looks fantastic. (If she told me I’d look good bald, I’d shave my head. No joke.)
The new Loft location in Des Peres is warm and welcoming, despite not being set up like the usual salon. All the stylists are friendly and like to pop into each other’s stations to say hello. If you’re a stylist without a home, Loft is for you — either at this location or the one in Maplewood. Both rock. And so does the head honcho of it all, Jen. (If I could do hair, I’d absolutely work for her.)
If you need a new do, your brows shaped in a different form other than «caterpillar» or if you’re looking for a place to excel your career, Loft Studios is exactly where you need to be.

Love, love, love this place! It’s beautifully decorated and the stylists are fantastic. I’ve been going to the owner, Jen, for years now and don’t trust anyone else to touch my hair! This place is a hidden gem!

Great location. Very clean. Great stylists. Used to go to Maplewood location. This one is more convenient for me. Have never been disappointed. These stylists are up to date (if not ahead) with the latest styles.
