WOW! I wish everywhere had customer service like Krause. I locked myself out of my car and they were there within minutes. The stupid tax for locking myself out was 54 $ (which seems to be the going rate) but the info I got from the gentleman who unlocked my car was worth it. He not only unlocked my car quickly but he told me where to get spare parts, and to go get a spare car key made. Hopefully I won’t lock myself out again. I will recommend them to friends and family.

Needed a copy made of a key and they got the job done in less than 5 minutes and for less than 5 dollars. I was super impressed. This business is far from where I live, but I’d come back here in a heartbeat for all my key and lock needs! Thanks Krause!

Unbelievable Honesty!!!
I called Krause to have a service call to help unlock an old closet door as we do not have the skeleton key. He suggested we come by and he will loan us some keys which will most likely save us the service fee. Wow, I am amazed and what a great guy! I will always call him first as he is obviously a kind and very honest business man!

Like the reviews say, this place is amazing. SO inexpensive (cheaper than going to Wal-​Mart, and faster.) They gave me a 3rd key for free when I only needed two. I will only go here for lock and key related things from now on!

Needed an extra key for work, so I stopped by Krause since it is in my hood. I could not be happier with the service I received. I was greeted by a friendly associate, he made my key and I was out the door in under 5 minutes and that was with small talk.
If and when I need more keys made, I’ll keep my business local and come back to Krause.

I locked myself out of my house (1 pm on a Monday) and after a failed attempt to get my spare key from my friend’s house I called Krause. I have noticed the store as I drive up and down Hampton. They were very pleasant on the phone and the man took my name and number to call me back with an estimated time of arrival. He called back a minute later and said someone was on the way. The locksmith arrived in a Krause van within five minutes. It didn’t take him long to get my door open; he then asked me to verify it was in fact my house (by providing him with my key inside) and made me a spare key on site.
They were prompt and professional and I felt very comfortable with the cost. I’m not sure of their hours of operations but I will highly recommend them for locksmith needs in South Hampton/​St. Louis Hills area.

Great service and always treats me well. We’ve gone several times to have keys made, and they work perfectly for a very reasonable cost. Today I had a mortise that I flipped around to go into our door — well, I screwed it up and it wouldn’t work anymore. We took it in to have them fix it — 5 minutes later walked out with a working piece of equipment — and they didn’t even charge us. Great place to go, and I’ll be sure to use them for all of my lock needs in the future.

I would hesitate to recommend this lock service. The bill ended up to be a lot more than I expected based on their misleading quote and the guy they sent was in a hurry and seemed like I was an inconvenience. I’m not sure why a 2 hours of work and $ 200 is such an inconvenience. On the day I met them I just happened to forget my keys and the guy didn’t want to take the time to pick the lock (or he just didn’t have skills). I then went back to work to get the keys. Then, everything I asked him to do (which is what I told them on the phone) he huffed and puffed and looked at his watch. In the end I didn’t even have them do everything and I’ll have to find someone else. I should have just hired Al Gore to put in the lockbox.
