Jonathan’s Salon

The owner Jonathan is the nicest person! He holds himself and his salon staff to the highest standard of quality both in experience and in execution. The new «free cut or color» coupons I’ve seen of his are SUCH an AWESOME deal, I can’t wait to go back for my appointment!

Since my last review, I’ve been consistently seeing Kate for my haircuts, color, and brow waxing. I live in New York, but I don’t let that stop me from continuing to see Kate exclusively. Every time I’m home, I make sure to get an appointment. She knows exactly the shape and color I’m looking for, and you couldn’t ask for a sweeter stylist. I also just reminded myself to book an appointment for when I’m back in September!

I went and asked if I could get a trim on July 20^th 2015 after getting a mani/​pedi at Beautiful nails which they are attached to. A woman named Kate said she could do it. Returning after my finished, this woman Kate walked in from sitting outside smoking. She told me to sit down and without washing her filthy, stinking cigarette reeking smelling hands began to touch my hair and face area. I wanted to jump out of the seat and run. I was too embarrassed and like an idiot let her trim my hair. Let me say this: In the future I will never hesitate when my money and my hygiene is an issue. I have tried calling the owners, but they NEVER answer the phone. I just get a long winded message. I DO NOT recommend this salon, or the so called hair dresser named Kate. What professional would not take the time to sanitize their hands after a long smoke break in the front of the salon, where ALL can see. I wouldn’t recommend this salon to a snake or this particular so called ‘stylist’ to a snake. She reeked of nasty cigarette odor and the dirty stench of the filthy odor… HORRIBLE!!!
