Herb’n Maid — Cleaning with a Conscience™

History

Established in 2007.

After learning that the chemical cleaning products used by her housekeeper were triggering her asthma flare-​up, Herb’n Maid co-​owner/​founder P. Richelle White left her corporate advertising job to create something she could feel good about at the end of the day. She joined creative forces with Larbi Belkouch, a research scientist, to build the city’s first eco-​luxury cleaning company and launch a line of locally-​made, artisanal green cleaning products. In Herb’n Maid, White (a self-​professed neat freak) and Belkouch (an admitted germaphobe) have found a «feel good» fuel for both their passions and their neurosis.
