LIsa (barber) is a cosmic host to all of Dogtown’s finest and tolerable of patrons. She excels in conversation, beverages and of course a phenomenal haircut. As the last review stated, this is a cut you can be proud of for a long, good while. She is NOT a stylist or drive-​thru haircut — she quickly becomes someone you trust with your most defining attribute — the hair atop your head. Always bring cash and she will save you money and have you saving face the next time you’re out on the town. Bottom line: this is a class act barber.

As far as barbers go, I don’t think you’ll find a better one in St Louis. Lisa, the barber, is the second generation owner of the shop and does a great job cutting men’s hair (I believe she does some women’s hair as well, but I’ve never been in when a woman was getting her’s cut). This is a BARBER shop, not a cosmetologist, so she actually knows how to cut men’s hair with clippers and the haircut will still look good a couple of weeks later, versus my usual experience with a short haircut at a salon and it begins to look bowl-​like after a week or two. Lisa works hard to accommodate her customers schedules and her prices can’t be beat ($ 15 for a cut as of Jan 2014, but CASH ONLY, so don’t forget to hit the atm first). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lisa to any man looking for a good cut.
