Avoid at all costs! I could have taken $ 400 and burned it and gotten the same result with far less frustration.
After confirming that my hard drive data was recoverable, they pressed me to sign off on a $ 400 deposit so that they could purchase the necessary part to repair it. After many telephone calls from them (3 – 4 per day) trying to push for the deposit, I agreed that my data recovery was worth the cost. I was told 3 – 5 business days to repair and recover the data.
Two weeks later, having heard nothing, I started calling. Couldn’t get anyone on the phone. Called and called. When I eventually did, they transferred me around, hanging up on me several times. Finally, I got someone on the telephone who agreed not to transfer me and to instead look up the status on my repair. At which point he told me the data was not recoverable, my deposit was non-​refundable, and there was nothing more they could do. Terrible operation.
