just tried this place for the first time, it’s goooood! fast, friendly, made to order, real beef burgers with flavor. I will be back!

My first visit to Ferguson Burger, when you first arrive, you will notice it is located in a dreary looking strip mall, once inside the place is alive though, you can smell the smoke of savory meat cooking and the aroma of beef in the air. You walk in and go straight to the counter and place your order, you sit wherever you would like to, this place is all the way casual. I did not get a chance to try a few items I wanted to the person that knows how to prepare them is on vacation and they sold all the supply that was left… don’t bother me one bit, I love the fact that they have a secrete recipe and will not reveal it to anyone. Now that makes me have to come back, and I am just dying to taste it and expectations or higher than ever, so it better be worth it! This FBB sales more than just burgers, there is a not too spicy burger, chicken wraps, they even have breakfast food. This is a nice little spot and I like the atmosphere. It is a little noisy but it is not like that all the time just when they get busy. Everything looks pretty good here from what I can tell from the food everyone else is eating. There was nothing super special about the fries, they do put some sort of shake on it, and that helped, however, I believe they are just doctored up frozen fries! I had the double garbage burger and it was delicious; it is Texas toast rich with butter and then they fry an egg and place in their to give it some creaminess, there is some hearty bacon and they load up on that good bacon, mayo, there is some lettuce, onions for sweetness with two beef patties and cheese all that makes up the garbage burger, well double for met. The staff seems friendly, I think the better you will feel about the place, the more you come. They have fish and chicken wraps they also serve breakfast. However, let me tell you the shakes are seasonal, so you want get milk shakes during late fall and winter months. The place seems clean, I didn’t notice any dirt and what was on the floor as soon as the big crowd left they started cleaning up immediately. They have a shared parking lot with the other stores in the strip mall. I will be going back, to try every item they have eventually!!!

This delicious hole in the wall is well worth a try. The shopping mall its in looks pretty run down, but the restaurant is very clean and well taken care of. The Burgers are pretty clearly made fresh which is a big plus. They did however get both of our orders wrong toppings wise. My buddy even double checked after we ordered and she said«He was covered». With a little more attention to detail they would have got 5 stars for the quality alone. WE both had burgers. I will for sure go back to try the fish. They also had some«peach glaze» chicken wings. I will be trying those too at some point.

Totally and completely enjoyed my burger, fries and soda at the Ferguson Burger Bar and More. I had the Spicy Burger Combo and loved every bite. The meat was perfectly prepared. The bun was soft and tasty and the cheese and Jalapenos added the prefect amount of zest and kick to an already delicious meal. Charlie, the owner, explained that this burger did not just have Jalapenos layered on top but had chopped and sliced Jalapenos throughout the patty. Wow, what a treat. The fries were plentiful and perfectly seasoned. Not sure how they did it but the outside of the fries were crunchy while the inside was soft and flavorful. I could eat these all day long and you should give them a try. It is a great experience. The menu is creative, soulful and complete. If you cant find something to eat here you wont be satisfied anywhere. The ambiance of the restaurant is homey, comfortable and joyful. When you walk in you are greeted with a genuine welcome and smile that instantly let’s you know they are truly grateful you have stopped in to savor their food. While you wait look around at all of the strategical placed signs. Each has it’s own energy and message that will touch your heart. This is more than good food, it is an experience. I came in with 6 other folks and each of all us had exactly the same positive experience. All our our meals were different and all made to order. None of us had anything but great things to say and, when finished, Charlie genuinely thanked us for coming and expressed his gratitude for our visit. There is no question we all will return. Thanks you guys for having the courage and faith to take the risk to open your dream restaurant…

Rolled in on the early side for lunch on a Friday. Went after a patty melt because the pictures others have posted made it the logical choice. Very, very happy! I loved the use of Texas toast instead of some wimpy wonder bread. I enjoyed the fact it wasn’t a greaseball as found elsewhere. I really liked the slight sweetness imparted by the grilled onions too. The burger patties themselves were perfection from a flat-top grill. Healthy sear created a slight crunch without any burnt taste. Well-seasoned and of sufficient size that I knew my afternoon would be shot if I tried to eat the whole thing. Onion rings were straight out of the freezer and nothing special. I ditched all but a few of the rings in favor of finishing the patty melt. The fries they serve are crinkle-cut and will be a part of my order next time around. Maybe not all the way to a five-star experience but I’m rounding up because they are survivors and dedicated to making the best of challenging times.

I first tried it was it was in top 100 of GO magazine. And for being open only are year. They are way to simple of a Resturant. But the burgers are above average. But they still server soda from a can. But it must day there better than the fast food restaurant across the street called McDonald’s

If you like a no frills flavor heavy skillet burger this is your place. I had a Bacon Double Ranch burger prepared fresh and served on Texas toast(yum). If you have never tried a burger on Texas Toast, stop on by, but bring plenty of napkins, unless you like to lick the flavor off your fingers. I won’t judge you.

Visiting from out of town. Wanted something freshly made and able to accommodate my diet of no beef or pork. My party of three ordered the chicken and French toast and two single turkey burgers. Owner Charles was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. Inside of restaurant was neat and clean. Food came out hot and delicious. Made to order. I would recommend Ferguson Burger Bar to any and all.

I’ve had different burgers from here several times and they’re just average, hence the 3 stars. The meat doesn’t have any special flavors going on and the fries have no real flavor to them other than pepper. Not enough difference in flavor between theirs and a national chain fat food restaurant to justify the higher price.

I Love this place! I frequent this place a lot & my favorite item on the Menu is the Chicken Philly Steak w/fries and a Fitz Root Beer. Check this place out! The Garbage Burger is great as well… You won’t be disappointed.

I took a detour on my Sam’s Club trip and visited the burger bar for lunch. The strip mall is shabby but the interior of the restaurant is clean and we’ll maintained. The booths are very generously sized. The owner was courteous and professional while taking my order. There were more choices than I expected with a lot of chalkboards displaying specials. I ordered the patty melt special. My food arrived hot, fresh and delicious. The food is well seasoned. So be careful if you are watching your salt intake, but the food is not overly salted. Huge fat crispy on the outside and soft on the inside crinkle cut fries. The patties are seasoned to perfection. If you are in the area give this place a visit. They also serve breakfast all day.

We really enjoyed our lunch today! Owners and staff were so nice! I had a catfish sandwich, it was served simply with white onion slices, pickles, on white bread. It was cooked perfectly! My nephew had BBQ chicken«wants» and fries. He said they were some of the best wings he had ever tasted. He licked the bones clean. I will be back to try a burger and other stuff on the menu. It felt so good to spend money in a locally owned place. Loved our experience!

This last month has had me busy busy busy, from traveling a lot for work and working 10+ hour days but this is a place — I have to halt slipping on my Unilocal-Pimp’ing(personalized infotainment management program) and do a review ASAP so that the local foodies can know how great this place is! Shout out to Steven B who told me about this place when I PM’ed him and told him I was looking for a great turkey burger. I also saw information about this place on the news when everything happened in Ferguson and it was the main place that the out of town media(even Anderson Cooper & Don Lemon) were going to eat; as it was one of the few places that wasn’t touched in this area. When you walk in you will find a very clean dining area with an endearing and proud Owner full of smiles and ready to serve you boundless burger deliciousness at reasonable prices. I don’t eat pork or beef so I was beyond stoked to find that they serve turkey and veggie burgers. I deeply miss Steak-N-Shake and the burgers here are lovely and thin just like the aforementioned burger place. The Ferguson Burger Bar is right across the street from a McDonald’s and they still do business. You know why? They are that good!!! No frozen gray meat patties on this side of the street. While you wait, there are so many positive and awesome sayings around and it is truly inspiring to see. Since my first visit a month ago I’ve been back two times and each time it gets better and better and I tell those I know about it. The fries are perfectly seasoned, excellent hot and they are even delicious when cold(can’t say that about fries at most places). Onion rings are totally fresh and golden brown. The coating on the onion rings is unlike most places meaning it is not rough and textured instead it is smooth and flavorful. My burger of choice right now is the turkey Ferguson Burger with all the fixings, minus mayo, with pepper jack cheese on buttery Texas toast — served piping hot. The patties are wonderfully thin, juicy and so very well seasoned; the portions are generous and even though the burger was on Texas toast, the meat still went out to the ends — in other words the meat isn’t chasing the bread. I raved about this place so much the next day at work that a bunch of my co-workers and I got together into two cars and we drove over for lunch. In the afternoon, this place was bustling with a very diverse crowd all enjoying the delicious creations of this wonderfully spirited Owner. Everything here is fresh — so there is nothing under a light waiting. With that said, be patient — everything is made to order and trust me it is worth it! A rose in the concrete — and beauty for ashes! Ferguson Burger Bar, you will see me and see me often. I love supporting local places and it’s even better when the items are reasonably priced and the service/item is something that I can really enjoy. I would more than highly recommend this place and have been here several times and I’m sure this will be a place I go out of my way to go to weekly, as it is that delicious. Apart from the great food — come support a local business Owner. Even if this isn’t in the 14-mile radius of your home/work — the WHOLE city is your community and we should all care about what’s going on in other parts of town and partake in the cultural and culinary delights that this city has to offer. Yum-OOOOOO!

Last fall, I heard about this place on the news due to its proximity to the protests regarding the death of Michael Brown. The story seemed very inspiring, but it wasn’t enough to entice me to try their food because I normally don’t crave burgers or go out of my way for them. I ended up coming here on a day when I was traveling from the school where I work to another school for a meeting. Ferguson Burger Bar was on the way between those two locations and I decided to give them a try. I’m glad I did! Food: 4.5 /5 I ordered the garbage burger with just one patty. It had lettuce, bacon, a fried egg, onions, cheese, and mayo in it. My burger was delicious! You could tell the patty was handmade and didn’t come from a box. The meat was flavorful and not too greasy and went well with the bacon and the fried egg. I would say it’s in probably my top 10 favorite burgers. Side note: the onion is raw, not grilled. I made the mistake of assuming they were grilled(even though the menu didn’t say that), so I took them out of my burger when I got it. Oops! I’ll just have to remember to ask them to leave it out next time. Another side note: I asked the guy behind the counter why they named it the garbage burger; he said he didn’t really know where the name came from, only that they wanted to make people notice it. I guess it worked! Service: 5⁄5 Really great service! The guy behind the counter was very friendly, didn’t hurry me to make a choice, and just genuinely seemed happy to be there. Price: 4⁄5 Decent for the quality of the food. I ordered just the burger with no fries or a drink and it came out to $ 7. I wouldn’t hesitate to spend that again because the burger and the service was great! Ambiance: 4⁄5 On the outside, it doesn’t look like there’s much in that strip mall, but inside the restaurant, it’s pretty cute. It has a casual feel inside and there are tons of funny inspirational quotes on the walls. There are a few tables along each side and the counter to order is in the middle. I would highly recommend this place for its delicious burgers and personable, friendly staff.

When my friend Norma and I went to Ferguson to finish up our holiday shopping, we knew we wanted to have lunch at Ferguson Burger Bar. I commend the owners of this fantastic little burger café. It takes courage to place your«burger» business directly across the street from a McDonald’s. McD’s should be scared, FBB&M serves up some kick ass burgers and fries. Norma enjoyed a single patty Garbage Burger, which was anything, but garbage. It’s a grill seared patty garnished with; lettuce, bacon, fried egg, onion, cheese and mayo. Who wouldn’t want to enjoy a tasty burger like this instead of a Big Mac. My Double Cheeseburger with Pepper Jack Cheese would put any double cheeseburger to shame. Thick, juicy patties seasoned perfectly and placed between two slices of Texas Toast. The french fries were crisp crinkle cut fries and seasoned with pepper more then salt. We both enjoyed the fact that they were heavily seasoned with pepper. It is counter service and they call out your number when your food is ready. Another cool treat at FBB&M is the free Vess soda with your combo meal. My Crème soda was the perfect refreshing beverage, it was a throw back to my childhood. The owner was most gracious and the perfect host. I wish them well in their business and with the quality of food and service we received, I’m confident they will be around for a long time.

The burger and fries were good. They also have fish — wings and tripe. Breakfast is also served. If you are in the area I would advise that you doll in and give it a try. Personnel is so very nice. The price is right for hand made burgers.

Hands down the best fried fish sandwich I’ve ever had and I’m from the south. Excellent customer service and good atmosphere. I had the tilapia and fries. My friends had the ferguson burger. The owners are fantastic!
