History

Established in 1953.

Established in 1953 by Frank Dunham who had the innovation and foresite to build, from scratch, and open the doors to Dunham Sales & Service. We pride ourselves in repeat business from our loyal customers in St. Louis Hills. As our business has grown over the years, we have gained more loyal customers from north St. Louis to Cedar Hill and St. Charles to Illinois. Business Owner

After Frank Dunham started the business in 1953 his son David Dunham started working there when he was 13 to help his dad and took over when Frank died in 1975. Over the years Dunham’s has done a lot of things like car repair, and even had a gas station in front but the one thing that stuck through out the years has been small engine repair. Ted started working at Dunham’s as a young 15 year old boy in 1980, helping his dad after school and in the summer with lawnmower repair and Christmas Tree sales. Ted became the head mechanic in 1985 and when his dad passed in 2001 took the business over.
