History

Established in 2000.

After some 30 years as a full time staff photographer for several major newspapers, I began freelancing in St. Louis. I’m now excited to be adding sound and motion to my visual work and I’m producing short-​form videos. I know how to tell your story. Contact me with your ideas.

Business Owner

My hope is to foster understanding and tolerance through sharing

my photos. I like to work up close and personal, telling stories of interesting people and

celebrating their diversity and their lives. I believe in the power of still photographs,

freezing important moments and allowing the viewer to view them over and over.

Most of these I have shared through newspaper and magazine publications.

During my thirty-​five years of daily newspaper experience, I have focused on the major

social and economic events affecting people mainly in Missouri, Texas and Mexico.

Now, I am producing documentary video projects.

The addition of sound to the still photos is very powerful. Hearing people tell their own stories

in their own voices is a profound addition to the photography.

My new clients are using short-​form documentary and informational videos on their websites.

Current projects include work for non-​profit agencies as well as commercial businesses.
