Crusoe’s Restaurant & Bar

I’ve eaten here a handful of times but this time was worth leaving feedback. Our server was young and unattentive. The chicken was def frozen and most likely improperly defrosted. Everything tastes like it came out of a can. Find somewhere worthwhile.

The husband and I decided to stop in as we love the original Crusoe’s on Osceola. The ambience here was odd, similar to the many restaurants that started off in the city and expanded to the county. Just not the same.
Had the chicken modiga which was very tasty. Husband had the smothered chicken, very bland. He wound up eating mine. Glad that they had the two entrees for one deal, otherwise we would’ve felt cheated. Paid $ 3 per drink with no refills. Couldn’t find the waitress. Would go back for the same deal.

We visited here last night before a basketball game at Oakville High. I would not go back. The inside is bland and cafeteria looking with weird lighting. The food is not good. My wife had a buffalo chicken wrap that was very bland. It consisted of a chicken finger in buffalo sauce wrapped up with tortilla with lettuce and cold fries. I had the patty melt with meat that was overcooked and the bread was just toasted burnt bread and not cut in half and not cooked on a flat top. The burnt toast was inedible. The sweet potato fries were decent. I asked for a side of 1000 island and the waitress dropped off a little baggy packet of 1000 island your would buy from a vendor. Very odd! The service was TERRIBLE! We sat with no refills the entire dinner and when it was time to pay the bill suddenly the waitress (Jessica) wanted to refill drinks when we asked for the bill. Do yourself a favor and skip this place and keep driving when you pass this place. The combo of poor service and bad food is not even worth one star in our book.

The staff are friendly and service is usually pretty good. It’s nice they offer coupons, but it’s always based on the purchase of 2 beverages — their current offer is 20% off. But I wish they’d offer even just 10% and just maybe just 1 beverage… I’ve got a party of 4 – 6 every time I’m there, spending $ 15 – 20 just for my dinner and don’t necessarily want anything but water. For B1G1 I can see requiring 2 beverages; but really, when paying full price you should be able drink what you want and still feel appreciated for your business.

The staff at this restaurant always makes you feel welcome from the second you walk in the door till the moment you leave. They run different specials whether it’s during lunch time or dinner. They offer something for each member of the family to enjoy. It has a friendly atmosphere and they remember you.

An average place, but food here is pretty good. I usually like to get pizza or wings when I come here. Bar has a few TVs, couple pool tables, and a golden tee machine for gaming entertainment. Every once in awhile they will have a band play and have to pay a $ 5 cover charge. I also thought service was good.

Okay place. My aunt and uncle had their 50^th wedding anniversary here. Wings were pretty good, pizza is thin crust and decent. Service was also pretty good considering how many people were in our group. I wouldn’t mind coming again if I lived closer.

Bland food terrible service

every time i visit stl, I eat here. I always get feed the crew. pizza, salad, toasted ravioli, and wings for ~$ 25…and it feeds 4.
cheap and very good. staff is super nice. and crocks is next door…
