I can wash my car for about $ 2.50 if you’re fast. You cannot beat that. The ability to use credit cards is one of the best things as well.

Some of the bays seemed a bit dirty. There were a plethora of options available for car washing and I felt that the amount of time given for the money was reasonable. They do take cards, which is nice! I opted to use change.

Best self serve car wash in the area! Clean, well cared for. Reasonably priced and in good working order. Accepts Credit Cards as well as cash. Change machines and detailing aids for purchase.

This is my car wash of choice. I love that the bays take credit cards and usually I can rinse, bubble wash and rinse for under $ 5. There are times they get busy but you don’t wait long before someone is moving out of the bay ahead of you. Plenty of space afterwards to dry off your car and so on. Clean facility too.

This place is probably one of the better if not the best self service car wash in the city. There’s about 10 bays available which are all fully equipped with vacuums and of course the washing stick and bubble brush. It’s really awesome that the controls are clearly labeled and that there is a step by step guide on how to fully utilize the options available. I love the fact that they have hot wax as well, definitely makes the car extra shiny.
The vacuums only take quarters but the actual wash will take quarters, cash in $ 1.00-$ 5.00 increments and credit cards. It’s probably best to pay in cash or quarters because there are limitations with using a credit card such as minimum and maximum charges. $ 2.00 in cash or quarters will get you four minutes and every dollar thereafter will be two minutes.
When I went here on a Sunday afternoon it was insanely busy and every bay had a car or two waiting in line. I noticed that almost every single person here was very serious about washing their car because some of them even brought their own big vacuum, window cleaner and special mat for drying. It was a little funny to me but at the same time I was very impressed so then I got inspired to buy a couple of 50 cent mats to hand dry my car. If you’re looking for a place to wash your car then this is the place to be and if you don’t want to be waiting in line keep in mind that it is open ²⁴⁄₇.

There are enough car wash bays here that you don’t have to wait in line on a nice day, unlike going at U-​Gas. They also have clips to wash your floor mats. Do-​it yourself wash at a low cost.

The car wash is what you would expect but be careful when using the credit card machines because they don’t print receipts and the owner will refuse to give you a receipt if you ask for one.

This place isn’t too far from where I live, and it’s well worth the 15 minute drive to be able to wash my car and not have to find a bunch of quarters! The car wash is always clean, and there’s never been a wait when I’ve gone. It’s just really convenient, and with a place like this nearby, there’s no excuse not to wash your car.

Great place to wash your car yourself. Just got done washing all the winter salt and grime off of mine and did it for about $ 5.00. I really like the ability to pay with credit card. I also like the location of the vacuum cleaner, although I would have liked to have an option to pay only 50 cents to use it for 2 minutes, which is all I needed.

Two words, Hot Wax! My Husband looked like a kid in a candy store. Our car couldn’t of been shinier if we had done it ourselves. Nice quiet neighborhood. Clean place of business. You can use your card to pay if your not one to carry change. We will drive extra for hot wax! God Bless :)

Hands down the best self car wash in STL. Accepts debit/​credit cards. Up to date and working equipment. Definitely worth the drive from downtown, especially if you’re already in the area at the Galleria or shopping around Target.
Only cost me $ 6.50 for a 12 ½ minute wash. I would go to another car wash that was drive thru and for $ 9 it still didn’t get my car completely clean!

Good service, always open, takes credit cards. Powerful sprayer with good variety of controls. Going late in the evening, I wish the lot were a bit better lighted, but it’s nice to be able to go at any time. Many full-​service washes close at 5, 6 or 7. Not sure how to get to a car wash that early.

I like this place for washing my car. Have been a few times. Never any problems with equipment or money or getting right into a bay.

Brentwood car wash is the best place to wash your car in St. Louis. Not only is this one of the only do-​it-​yourself places, but they are the only place I’ve seen with credit card usage. Someone on here said there is a 15 dollar minimum to use a card; that’s not true. The maximum charge is 15… in case of malfunction. I had a problem with one bay that kept on charging my card after I was done, but I filled out one of the complaint forms and received a refund for the amount I was due in just two days. Excellent business practices and excellent place to wash a car.

To those that highlighted this mid-​sized self-​serve car wash (plenty of washing bays to be sure, but by no means an over-​sized presence on the street): kudos. This is your usual Do It Yourself car wash, operated solidly.
The biggest benefit, by far, is the convenient acceptance of Visa and Mastercard in the bays (cash is accepted too). Check the wall for the directions on how to use the card option; the process is pretty self-​explanatory (slide your card and press a «Stop» button on the card reader once you’ve finished washing), but there’s a note about turning the wash setting to «Off» that might not be immediately obvious.
For 50 cents a minute (there’s a $ 2 minimum for credit cards), all of the standard options are offered. The hoses have good pressure, the bays are clean and it’s well lighted. I agree with fellow Unilocaler Simone: using the air dry option is only somewhat effective, at best. It worked better for me, but took a while as the nozzle where the air came out is somewhat narrow. The option’s best for blasting water out of crevices.
It’s worth noting that even though this place is visible from Manchester (especially at night), its entrance really is on Breckenridge Industrial. If you’re on Manchester and headed eastbound, you’ll want to turn a little bit after where you’d imagine the pull in is and the opposite goes if you’re coming from the west. There’s a sign marking where the pull in for the car wash is, but it can be a little tricky to see at night or if the Sonic lights or Joy Luck Buffet catch your eye instead.

I like this place because its large, there are enough bays where you dont have to rush someone out in order to wash your car.
They accept Credit cards but there is a minimum $ 15 charge, which is not ideal. We used quarters and we were fine. There is a change machine if needed. and the vacuums are right in front of the bays so you just have to pull you car forward and you can start vacuuming your car instead of driving to the back like other places. The vacuums however only take quarters, they do not take card $ 1 for 4 minutes is the minimum
One interesting thing about Brentwood Car Wash is that there is a «blow air» option where air blows out of this large tube and its supposed to dry your car, well it doesn’t. Don’t waste your money on that option. We did and the car wasn’t getting dried instead the mechanism that blast the air on the front of the hose flew off and the hose started flying everywhere. Otherwise this is a really good place to bring your car to get it squeaky clean inside and out.

Brentwood Car Wash is one of the few self-​service car washes in STL where you can pay with a debit/​credit card. Magical! In less than 10 minutes and for less than $ 4, you can rinse the winter storm salt and grime off your vehicle. Totally worth the drive up Manchester from the city to do so.

Great Car Wash! Accepts Credit Cards!!!

I’ve giving five starts pretty much because this car wash accepts credit cards so I never have to worry about finding cash to wash my car. It’s located right near Manchester and Hanley and has all manual bays, no automatic wash. I don’t really know much about one soap compared to another, but theirs did the trick and didn’t leave any funky residue or anything. The time it took me to do a rinse, soapy brush, another rinse, and a spot-​free rinse cost me $ 3.50.
