We teach electric guitar, acoustic guitar, electric bass guitar, bluegrass banjo and ukulele. The styles of music include rock, metal, country, folk and bluegrass.

All levels of experience are taught from absolute beginners to advanced players.

All lessons are private, one on one sessions, and all teaching rooms are soundproofed.

History

Established in 1993.

After several years of teaching at local music stores, including 10 years for the world famous Mel Bay, I decided it was time to open my own studio. We were in the middle of downtown Kirkwood until 2009, then moved to our current location. The new facility has a nice waiting room, spacious teaching rooms, and best of all the rooms are soundproofed.

I’ve dedicated my time to teaching and learning music, with the goal of being a complete musician, and helping students learn a skill that will last a lifetime.

We’ve given guitar, banjo and electric bass lessons to thousands of students. The most important and gratifying thing about teaching is to run into someone I taught years ago and to find out they’re still playing and enjoying music.
