History
Established in 1996.
Formerly The Apothecary Shops, Avella Specialty Pharmacy was founded in 1996 as a single pharmacy located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Since inception, we have experienced rapid growth and now have locations throughout the United States as well as a national mail-order facility headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Avella’s broad geographic coverage allows us to provide specialty services to patients throughout the nation, while still allowing patients to maintain personal relationships with pharmacists who are knowledgeable in their disease states.
