I met Brian while watching a Blues game. He proved to be a really nice guy who just so happened to have a bike rental service(which I had been looking for). He offered a great rate, a map, and lots of advice. It was a great experience. I was able to bike to everywhere I wanted to and then some. I highly recommend Around Town Bikes if you have some time to explore St Louis. Thanks Brian!

A great way to see a city, especially St Louis, is on a bike! Brian has all kinds of bikes, locks, and helmets for a one day rental or for a longer period of time. We rented 3 bikes to have for a few days hanging out in St. Louis. We test rode several of his 100+ options, including a few(quite) oldies but goodies. The rate was extremely reasonable and it felt great to be supporting a business that is downtown but also basically saving bikes from the scrap yard. He has bikes with baskets, kid seats, mountain bikes, road bikes — the works! Give Brian a call for your next trip to St Louis. One of the other reviewers had the website, but the link didn’t work — here it is

A google search for bike rentals led us to Brian with Around Town Bikes. We actually called Brian a bit early on a Saturday morning requesting bike rentals and he was so friendly and accommodating! He had us on bikes within 30 minutes for a very reasonable fee. He also had great tips for where to eat and what to see. Great person to add to your contact list.

My roommate’s dad came into town and we wanted to take him on the Riverfront Trail so he needed to rent a bike. A quick search on Unilocal led us to Brian. Brian is part newsletter writer, part party bus/game day shuttle driver and all around entrepreneur. He is starting a bike rental and leasing business for students, downtown residents and office workers. We called on a Saturday morning and he met up with us within a few hours at the Globe building on Tucker. He was very friendly and had the tools to adjust the seat height. It was only $ 20 to rent a bike for the day with a $ 50 deposit. He has both mountain bikes and road bikes for rent. Here is the link to his website:
