Antoine Eye Care

I called as a new patient after an eye injury became unbearable and they got me in an hour later. Dr. Antoine seems to really care about his patients. I’ve seen him three times in the past two weeks (!) and each time he’s been attentive and seems to go above and beyond to ease the injury pain while still helping me see better. The staff are all very friendly as well, especially Tina!
Not to mention, Lenscrafters has THE cutest frames!

Great office staff!!! Procedure to book an appointment was super easy and they got me in fast. Dr. Smith was very professional and answered all of my questions and explained things very well.

Love Dr. Smith! she’s very nice and efficient. Always takes time to explain any procedure or testing and has a nice way with kids too!

I was examined by Dr. Antoine. The exam was fine and uncomplicated as I’ve been wearing glasses and contacts since the 5^th grade. However, I felt like I was being pushed into purchasing more expensive contacts than I needed by Dr. Antoine. I had to insist very strongly that I liked my original contacts that were both less expensive per box and also very comfortable. I had been wearing them very comfortably for at least the past 6 years with no issues at all.
I felt like I was dealing with a cheap used car salesman. I felt like he cared more about making money off me than actually doing what was best for my eyes. Even though the exams went fine and I got the right prescription for my eyes, I will never go back.
However, I highly recommend the Lencrafter’s that the optometrist office is attached to. They are incredibly helpful and super nice. They are two completely separate businesses, Dr. Antonie probably just rents the space from them because it will bring him more business being next to an eye-​glass shop.

I’m upping my review to 5 stars! I’ve seen both doctors here, and I felt like I received personalized attention from both. They were both friendly and explained things well. The staff at the front desk in the contact lens room are all very friendly and courteous as well. I’ve never had difficulty scheduling and rescheduling appointments here. It’s clean, and my contacts always arrive in a timely manner. This place is great!

Dr. Smith was great! I got my appointment changed to an earlier appointment and she saw me within 5 minutes of my arrival. The technicians were great and very fast. Dr. Smith showed me photos of my eyes and explained the changes in my eyes very well. It was my first experience with her and I will definitely request her again!

I can see clearly now, my eyes have been examined by Dr. Michael Antoine.
Sometimes the convenience of having a doctor of Optometry office attached to eye glasses boutique is to your advantage. Okay, calling Lenscrafter a eye glass boutique is a stretch, but still having the two next to each other is a big plus.
I finally found a pair of frames I liked at Lenscrafter and Nerea my sales associate was able to get me a walk in appointment with Antoine Eye Care. Extra bonus points, they took my vision insurance so it was no money out of pocket for me.
Dr. Antoine was friendly, explained each test and questioned my computer use to make sure he put me in the right lens. When it is time for the next eye exam, I will not procrastinate like I did this time. I will call Antoine Eye Care and get it done.

Still waiting for 10a appt 25 min later! Having an appointment does not guarantee you will be seen at your appointment time. Rather you are put in a cue and served at their leisure. — Walk in’s were served before us, and there was NO optical emergency. Definately upselling of additional testing. However when we got in (45 min after appt time) we were served with very good service.

Horrible! Our kids had their prescriptions for contacts/​glasses done in May. My husband noticed some additional charges on top of the exam and the rest of the fees, he questioned for «fitting» the contacts, which he was told was for showing them how to get them in the eyes. Our oldest didn’t need this done, so he complained about the fees being so high. They offered to refund that part of the fee. Now I went to go order more contacts online and was told that the prescription isn’t valid. I called and was told by Antoine that because they offered us a refund of that portion of the bill, they also rescinded the prescription and it’s no longer any good. If I want them to tell the supplier what the valid prescription is, I have to pay them $ 60 first. No thanks, I will take my business somewhere else.
Also, before this incident, the contacts they provided my youngest he was having trouble putting in his eyes. He had a box of trial lenses and it just wasn’t going well The texture of the lenses was very difficult to work with, so we asked if we could have a trial pair of a different brand, the ones his brother and father both use, to see if it may be easier for him to work with. We were told no, not without paying for another exam/​fitting fee!
Avoid these people! I will never step foot in there again.
