The office is completely unconcerned with their patients. They do not return phone calls or emails. Good luck getting help when you inevitably need replacement parts for your cpap.

American sleep medicine wasn’t very helpful.
I was referred to this sleep center by normal doctor. Had about a 15 min consultation with them and was told I needed a sleep study. My insurance didn’t cover much so I was given the option of a $ 250 home sleep study or a $ 800 dollar in house sleep study. I opted for the in home sleep study because it was cheaper, and who wants to sleep in a strange room with people watching you on camera? I also had a look at the sleep study rooms while I was there and was not impressed. I would think for $ 800 dollars a night the room would be nicer. I have been to budget hotel chains that have nicer rooms and that cost 49.99 a night and are 4 times as big.
So after paying my $ 250 home sleep study kit off I was sent to sleep 2 nights with this torture device that is cumbersome and allows for 2 sleeping positions which are on your back and sitting in a recliner. If your a stomach and or side sleeper don’t plan on actually sleeping. You have 2 sets of probes in your nose so if you roll from side to side they just dig in and shred your nasal entrances. you also have an elastic band on chest and waist along with pulse/​oxygen meter on your finger. All of that plugs into your box the size of a old fashion brick cell phone. After doing some research there are newer sleeker models not nearly the size. I guess they use an older technology at ASM.
After my 2 nights of not sleeping I return the device and hear nothing for a week and half. Finally the doctor calls and leaves a 30 second message stating that I have mild OSA and that I will need a CPAP device and a medical supplier would be calling me.
2 weeks go by and I hear nothing, so I call and get someone on the phone and check to see what is going on. Was told they would get back with me right away. Fast forward 48 hours still no call back. I call again they say my insurance denied payment. I called my insurance company and they had no record on file that they received a request. SO I call ASM back and tell them what is going on and they say need to contact there cooperate office. and I wait a few more days.
I call back again to see what is going and they are like yes we can provide you with a machine for $ 800 dollars. They couldn’t tell me what type of machine it was or what features it had.
SO instead of dealing with a company who’s primary concern was making me pay through the nose and obviously not my health I obtained my prescription and bought a new unit online that has all the new bells and whistles for about ½ the price of what ever ASM was pushing.
There are plenty of other sleep centers in the St Louis area, I recommend one affiliated with a hospital.
p. s. if you do go there for a sleep study bring flip flops or slippers the floors/​thin carpet looked dirty.
