Description

Specialties

1st Step Family Wellness specializes in complete natural family health. This Kirkwood clinic uses chiropractic care along with nutrition, acupuncture, and gentle muscle techniques to treat the cause and relieve symptoms. Our clinic is one of the few clinics that can treat patients as young as infants and up to the elderly. This is accomplished by having two doctors that focus their techniques on these different groups. Dr. Jeanne has focused her training around women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, and pediatrics, while Dr. Ryan treats headaches, neck, back, and extremity issues.

The Chiropractic care that is used in this office is very safe, gentle, and effective. By using gentle specific adjustments at the cause of the problem, the body can then begin the process of healing itself.

History

Established in 2013.

This Kirkwood clinic was started in 2013 and is located in the Woodbine center above Ginger Bay Spa. Before this office was established, Dr. Ryan had worked at another office in Creve Coeur for the past two years. Dr. Jeanne graduated, with high clinical honors, in April 2013 from Logan College of Chiropractic. Both doctors have lived and donated their time to the Kirkwood community for the past 5 years.

Meet the Business Owner

Ryan S.

Business Owner

My name is Dr. Ryan Sandheirnrich D.C. I graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in April of 2011. I was first driven to become a chiropractor after I went to one for help with my asthma when I was 12. The treatment that I received helped tremendously. It would not be true to say I was not scared to go. At that time I had no idea what a chiropractor was or what they did. When I finally meet the doctor he was very nice and explained exactly what he was going to do. After the treatment I felt great. Ever since then I have been receiving chiropractic care. Since going to Logan, I now have a better understanding of the human body. I understand just how complex and difficult it is for the body to do what it does. The human body is a compensation machine. It will adapt to any situation, injury, and nutrition. On the other hand I also have learned how the body can be simple. Take care of your body, give it what it needs, and it will take care of you.
