Park Tavern

I came here for a girls night with some of my coworkers. First we went to the bar area to get food and we were checked in with right away so they could look at our IDs and give us water. We were not approached to order for about 15 minutes and I went to find a manager. He started to walk with me and explained it was barside service so we were supposed to walk up to the bar to order. When we came to the table the server was at our table and once he saw that the manager walked away without saying anything else to me. The food was good once we were able to receive it. Bowling was fun and on ladies night there are $ 3 you call it’s which was nice. While I was ordering one of my drinks the manager walked up to me and asked, «Is everything okay now?» Seemingly mocking me for having an issue earlier. I didn’t want to cause a scene so I said yes thank you and decided I would probably never come me back even though they served some of the best Mac and cheese I had ever had. 2 stars just for the food.

Sketchy. Sketchy. Sketchy. My fiances cousin was sexually assaulted in the bar area, where for some reason they don’t have any bouncers. I confronted the group and when I was walking away they flipped a lit cigarette at me that hit me in the head. The workers were nice and did help, they called the police eventually, but how can you not have any bouncers in the bar? They need more security, period.

Brought some family members there for dinner. They were extremely busy. Our waitress was very nice and efficient, the food was great. I recommend the pizza. Lastly, the desserts are big enough for 2 or more people for a good price.

A very good restaurant and the crowd gets very noisy, specially in the bar.
From the service to the food, it truly was five star all the way.
The atmosphere was fun and relaxing, that’s why this place is very ideal for friends hanging out together.

I bowl here every once and awhile on Friday nights with friends. Great times. Not really anything bad I can say about the place. They also have one of the best pizzas that I have ever had. I am not sure what kind of pizza it was, but it was amazing.

First time here. Had Sunday breakfast. Menu is cheap but the food sucks. Had eggs benedict and was the worst I ever had at a restaurant. The muffin was not toasted and the whole thing was cold and tasted poor. The hashbrowns cold. I know it’s cheap but don’t waste a good breakfast on this place.

We went there last late spring and were going to pay for around $ 20 in bowling and when I mentioned out loud that it seemed expensive, we were offered the summer bowling card for around the same price. A rockin’ deal: free bowling including shoes for up to 6 people for something like 4 months. They have pretty standard bar food, but I avoid fried foods and need many veges and the menu has plenty of salad options.

Located in St. Louis Park, this facility is easy to find, with lots of parking available for it’s patrons. The bowling alley itself has about 20 lanes, so it’s pretty easy for dropping in to play a game or two. I came on a Sunday evening, so it was a bit pricey. $ 15 for two games and shoe rental. If we had waited until 9pm… It would have been $ 10, all you can bowl including shoe rental! But 9pm on Sunday night is a bit late for most people…
The computer systems for controlling your lane are a bit dated and can use an upgrade. The balls also seemed kind of older and had plenty of ding’s and scratches on them. That makes bowling a bit inconsistent, but i’m not a professional or anything, so it worked out ok. It would just have been nicer to have some better bowling balls to play with.
The facilities have an attached restaurant and bar. Our mixed drinks were pretty strong, and they also serve beer as well. They restaurant area is self seating, but they can also deliver food to the bowling area if you want pizza’s or fries and stuff. The menu was pretty standard, I had the Turkey Cobb Salad, and it was loaded with toppings. It’s probably the least healthiest salad I could have picked.
On our way out, there was a guy checking ID’s of new people entering the venue. he was a pretty rude to the guests and I was a bit surprised by that. If I were that guest, I would have totally asked to speak to the manager.
Overall, the facilities can use an upgrade, and the prices for bowling were a little steep. But it’s an OK place to go if you want to bowl and eat at the same time.

Park tavern is a great place to go! I’m a regular there and have been for over a year now. Friendly people and great atmosphere. It’s my go-​to bar.

I have been to Park Tavern twice in the last few weeks. Both times have been a blast. There is bowling, a bar as well as a restaurant (with another bar). The bar has darts, pool tables, ski ball and buck hunter along with ample tvs for whatever game might be on. The bowling alley has cosmic bottomless bowling on Saturdays for 18(ish) bucks. Also on Saturdays in the restaurant, there is karaōke! If you’re hungry, you can eat there. If you’re thirsty, you can drink there. And if you’re bored, you can play any of the many games they have. They’ve got it all.

Good for bowling, average bar food, average service, good to see packers games they have a whole section for packers fans

I’ve been to Park Tavern a few times now. It has bowling and also a bar-​and-​grill area. In good weather, the patio outdoors is nice, and sometimes quieter (though, sometimes, the music on the speakers is a bit loud).
Indoors, the seating is kind of dimly-​lit with lots of booths. So it feels like a dive-​y sort of haven in cold weather, a place to get a good burger or a bowl of chili (both of which I think are good here!)
It’s not Fine Dining, you know? It’s a bowling alley with a bar and restaurant. But it’s pretty darn good, and has become a go-​to burger place for me now. Sometimes you just need a good burger in a bar!

Enjoyed a beautiful night on the patio for happy hour. Recommend the chicken taco. Patio is dog friendly as well. I will be back.

I’m updating my review based on more current experiences.
My softball team regularly came here after games for the past couple months. During those couple months, the service has been slow and sub par including mixing up tabs and inattentive servers. The food is below average and the last meal I received was lukewarm. Go to Bunny’s 2 miles south for much better service and food.

I come here once a year while visiting MPLS and I am never disappointed! We do not have anything like this in LA!!!

I’ve been coming to this place for years. But after the prices I saw today, I’ll be more reluctant to go back. $ 17.00 for a pitcher of summer shandy was super steep, like Manhattan steep. And each pizza topping I added was $ 3.00 each (hamburger, cheddar, bacon). A large pizza and 3 pitchers was $ 70. Beware.

Not great quality, lots of bread, vinegar Cole slaw. Won’t be coming back I don’t think

Solid neighborhood spot, large tap list with lots of local brews and a big menu that has something for everyone.
The food is a solid B, it wont blow you away but it will always hit the spot, especially the burgers.
Great patio and they added corn hole outside which is a lot of fun. We are never disapointed to end up here.

It’s got a big parking lot, a fun retro vibe, and beer? What else could you possibly need for bowling? Oh, you need more? Step down the hallway to the tavern that is inside the bowling alley. Fun!
I was there for a large group event and at the end I saw them disinfecting the shoes. It’s always nice to see that they actually do that, instead of just saying they do.

This review is exclusively for the restaurant, which is barely deserving of a review:
Plain burger, thick patty but always cooked well done. Potentially frozen. «Meh» fixings — flavorless tomato, probably from the back of a fridge somewhere — stem included on the burger. A Hamilton and a half for just the sandwich and really bad fries.
This place gets 2 stars for nice service, albeit incredibly slow, and some pretty solid onion rings.

Shockingly, I had a great time here the other night. I’m not into big crowds, bros, or long waits and I thought that’s what I was going to experience… but I definitely judged this book by its cover.
The restaurant section was packed but we got seated right away. The menu has a lot of typical sports bar like items. maybe a little fancier. I wasn’t really sure what to order so I went with the steak and fries appetizer. It was surprisingly really good! The app was garlic fries mixed with grilled sirloin strips served with a peppercorn dipping sauce. The steak was tender and the fries were crispy and savory without being too garlicky. It took about 20 – 25 minutes to get our food and our server was kind of overwhelmed but she played it off well and was nice.
Dinner was followed by cosmic bowling (after 9:30) and it was a great deal – $ 15 for all you can bowl including shoe rental. We ended up bowling five games so it was worth it. The music during cosmic bowling was a straight up flashback to the early 2000’s and my preteen self loved every minute of it. The only drawback to bowling was our lane reset function had a weird glitch so I complained to the staff at least four times. They were receptive and quick to troubleshoot so I didn’t really mind it. Oh yeah, they also try to fill up all of their lanes with parties of 6. so it’s kind of annoying to have that many people bowl on one lane.4 people should really be the max #justsayin
Overall, I can say I really enjoyed this place. I would recommend it if you are with two or three other people.

Food and bar only — overpriced for just okay service. Didn’t check on me after I got my food till I get was finished. Sat for 10 minutes with an empty plastic beer cup. They were just standing there, and I was the only person at the bar. Should be a 2 star review but the wings were tasty so I give 3.
