The Seventh-​Day Adventist Church is famous for its health system, Harvey Kellogg, and Little Debbie, whose snack cake factory is closed on the Sabbath (Saturdays) Its founder, Ellen G. White, spent her final days at her mansion, Elmshaven, in nearby Angwin.
St. Helena Seventh-​Day Adventist Church is a modern building. They have tracts about celebrating the Lord’s Day on Saturday, vegetarian diets, and Biblical prophecy. The congregation is welcoming, they offer vegetarian/​vegan cooking classes, and on the third Saturday of every month they have a delicious vegan/​vegetarian potluck. Health-​conscious, yet delicious.
The Seventh-​Day Adventist Church is worth visiting. They have good music and a good group. Remember, it’s on Saturday instead of Sunday.
