History
Established in 2010.
We opened Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch as a destination for food & wine experiences that showcase our estate-grown wines, extra virgin olive oils, grass-fed beef, organic produce, fresh eggs, honey and more.
Each day we welcome guests to enjoy food + drink at our Restaurant, relax at our Café, taste and shop at our General Store, join excursions to our Winery Estates, and to bring home the best of the season from our Farmer’s Market.
Meet the Manager
Stephen B.
Manager
Building on his Southern roots, Chef Barber leads Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch with an ingredient-driven approach to American farmhouse cooking. His team is dedicated to showcasing organic produce, grass-fed beef and lamb, eggs, and olive oils from Long Meadow Ranch Estate farms and vineyards.
Barber began his culinary career at one of the best restaurants in Mississippi, City Grocery, working with Chef John Currence. After a move to Miami, Stephen honed his craft under Chef Norman Van Aken at his eponymous restaurant, Norman’s. By the time he came to California and served as executive chef of MECCA he was named a «Rising Star Chef» by the San Francisco Chronicle. He has twice been invited to cook at the celebrated James Beard House and is thankful to live in Napa Valley with his wife and son.
