Voted one of the top Golf Courses in the state of Utah by Golf Digest. Sunbrook Golf Course is one of St. George’s Premier Golf Courses in the area. With three different 9 hole rounds to choose from, its the perfect place to play! Woodbridge is a beautiful and challenging set of holes with a risk-​reward island whole surrounded by water. The Point has breathtaking views of Snow Canyon, Pine Valley and Entrada area. Blackrock plays some of the holes surrounded by lava rock and has a very well crafted 9 holes. Everyone of all ages can come out and experience this wonderful game out at Sunbrook.

History

Established in 1990.

Sunbrook Golf Course was built in the 1990 by the City of St. George and has been a favorite among locals and people around the world ever since.

Business Owner

Reed McArthur has been the Head Professional at Sunbrook Golf Course since it was opened in 1990. He has been a PGA Professional for 25 years and has held many positons in the Utah PGA Section. He was the Golf Coach at Dixie High School for 7 years and is currently the Dixie State College Golf Coach.

Solid traditional golf course, well maintained, beautiful views, challenging but not too much so. It’s on the pricey side, but average for green fees in the area. Has great summer season deals. Club house is clean and spacious, bathrooms large and well kept. Service is usually friendly and helpful.
Woodbridge and The Pointe are my favorite to play, having the ups and downs, vistas with great views, and Woodbridge #4 is a fun island hole.
My one issue here is that homes have been built all along the course, often tighly along fairways. That makes it hard for newbies and infrequent players who find it intimidating. I teach folks golf, so I’ve witnessed many a house plunked here. So far no real damage, but it can cause some anxiety.
Besides that, this is one of my favorite courses in St. George.

I had a great experience here. I played The Point and Woodbridge. I thought the price was a little steep but the course is well maintained. Pace of play was average. I really enjoyed the scenic surroundings. Par 3 island hole is really fun.

This and Red Hills are my favorite courses in town. This has 3 really unique 9-​hole sections to play and is very well maintained. There are very challenging holes for more proficient golfers, and every hole is very different from the last. The management is hit or miss — sometimes very rude, sometimes very helpful, but overall I haven’t had anything but fun and good experiences in the times I played here.

Due to overseeding course wet and muddy and cart path only play. Should not have been allowed to book tee times in such lousy conditions. Poor management.

One of my one my favorite, must play courses while in St George. Reasonable fees, we’ll kept course, friendly/​helpful staff and a challenging course (if you hit your ball in the black rock, please just forget about it because you just sent your ball through a blender). If you’re planning on playing in St George, make sure this course is on your list — you won’t regret it.

This is a really nice golf course. It’s certainly not the most scenic or breathtaking course in the area, but it’s well-​maintained and has some challenging holes. The service is top notch and they have a nice pro shop.
Overall, Sunbrook is a good value and a good time for the price.

St George, UT
Great golf course. Little pricey.
Try and get onto Woodbridge. They don’t like to let people request it but it is by far the best 9 on the course. Good uphill and down hill, shot onto an Island, and a quaint little wood bridge to go through.
