I took my MB there and was quoted for the repair. I called other shops and the Las Vegas dealership and they quoted me hundreds less. I ended up going with the dealership so I cannot speak for the service itself but maybe the price premium is because of location. They told me the job called for a couple hours of labor but the dealer had it done in about one hour. This could be a fluke, I would go back to them with other issues and see how it goes on actual repairs.

I was travelling through town visiting my daughter. She was moving the seat forward on my BMW x3 and we heard something explode. Turns out it was a jar stuck under the seat. The jar exploded and then nothing would work properly after that. I called CSAR automotive and they took me in right away. Turns out the jar destroyed my DME module. They told me a new one would be $ 3000. I nearly freaked out. I did some independent research on the module and sure enough they were something like $ 3500. Not what I wanted to see. They then told me they may have a used one in the shop. They did find one used for me that was nearly new. They installed it right away and the charge was only $ 1500 for the module and the service. The staff was friendly and honest.

If I could post photos here I certainly would. Csar Imports charged me $ 90 to replace a sensor in my bmw brakes and I brought in the brake pads (he told us to) and he charged me another several hundred dollars for the brakes. Then some items were missing out of the front seat of my car and when I tried to talk to the owner about it he was not listening, then he said «my mechanic doesn’t even speak english» which I don’t understand what that has to do with anything? Whatever, I ended up buying another Ipod. So I let that go, but then my brakes went out a few months later I found out that he never even replaced my sensor (i have photos of the worn out sensor that was allegedly replaced) — I also have the bill for the replacement of a new sensor, that speaks for itself. Uggh mechanics.
