Camping World of St George

I don’t shop here if at all possible. I really hate going in the door. I feel like I have entered a morgue. It gives me the creeps. The people give me the creeps. Negative vibes emanating from all over. I always feel relived when I get out of there. I found the same exact feeling at other camping worlds too. Weird as hell. Makes me happy to be able to shop on

These guys are the worst. First of all, all telephone calls are handled by voicemail. You also have to make an appointment for service. This typically is 4 – 5 days out. Use these guys as a last resort.

My relationship with Camping World of St George started with a strained phone conversation. I called to schedule an appointment to have a laundry list of repair items completed on my RV during our visit to St. George 10 days in advance. The person I spoke to indicated they would not have enough time to complete all my work items, so I settled on the two most pressing issues. I was disappointed by this, I wanted to give them money to repair and inspect a number of systems in the RV that concern me, since we live in the RV full time.
I arrived for my appointment a little early and explained my list again. They told me they could only promise to complete two things; they were fully booked as everyone is winterizing their RV. I begged them to look at one more thing, a water leak; something they told me could turn into a major repair issue.
I arrived at Camping world 5 hours later to find the RV just leaving the shop. They had taken care of the three things I had asked for and the water leak was fixed; only costing $ 100 to repair.
I was very thankful for the work they completed, they did good work. I am frustrated as a full-​timer how hard it is to get a service appointment for the work I want done. Imagine if I had an incident where I needed repair done, Camping World just would not be there to help me.
I am leaving three stars because they completed more work than they said they could in my scheduled window. I would have given more if they had allowed me to schedule my laundry list of repairs. I guess I will have to call another repair place somewhere along my journey to get things fixed up.
