Steve has been working with technology since the late 70s. He is a former IS Manager at a large government organization. In the 1980s, he formed one of the first computer user clubs in Chicago — the Woodfield Area Computerist Organization. He has worked as an online columnist for Netsurfer Digest as well as other publications.
