Pundmann Ford

It’s a small thing but I was in having my car serviced and talking with a couple in the waiting area. They had a young son clinging to his mom. JB noticed the kid and brought over a matchbox car for the kid to play with. You should have seen that kid smile. Just typical of the little things JB and the rest of the crew does that has a positive impact.

I used the internet sales department (Andrew Barrett) — and had the best experience ever! He was laid back, frequently asked me to direct the experience — move as fast or slow as I wanted to. He was low pressure, negotiated a deal that I could live with on a brand new car — highly recommend Pundmann!

The staff was friendly and accommodating. They quickly diagnosed the issue but had to order a part. A return visit was scheduled immediately by accommodating my schedule. I arrived a half hour early for my appointment and they serviced my car earlier and quicker than expected. I really appreciate the team at Pundmann; you make other service departments inferior.

I needed a key programmed for my truck in a rush before I went out of town for work. I called and Matt Muraski made it happen for me the next day. Great service, friendly, and actually took the time to answer any questions I had. I have 2 other Ford dealerships closer to me, but it’s worth the drive to get the excellent service at Pundmann.

Rich Russell in the Service Department at Pundmann is absolutely amazing. He laid out the options regarding repairs and then said, «If it were my car, this is what I would do.» Then he told me what he would do. He did not try to sell me a bunch of crap I did not need. I love Pundmann Ford (where I purchased my car and where I have always had it serviced) and their Service Department is top-​notch. As a side note, I had recently switched jobs and inadvertently left a gardenia candle from my old office in a box on my back seat (in 100*+ temps) and when I went to pick the car up, all of the windows were down and I could smell my car when I got within 20 feet of it. Kudos to the guys who had to work on it and drive it! But it sure smelled purty!

I love Pundmann Ford and wish they had been my car repair provider all my life. To get to the heart of this AWESOME customer service story, we must travel back in time 15 years. I owned a Ford Windstar (ultra sexy minivan) with my soon to be ex husband. He «let» me take this beauty when I left, along with the remaining payments on it and the stigma of never getting a date driving around a soccer mom van. My ex husband was one of those «WHY PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO DO WHAT I KNOW HOW TO DO» schmucks. So he always changed the oil on that lovely mini van. I, in return balanced the check book. Prior to my leaving, I gave him a lesson on how to balance the check book and pay the bills. He DID NOT tell me how or when to get the oil changed in the Windstar. So guess what? I never changed the oil. Subsequently, the Windstar died a mysterious knocking death on Hwy 44 and had to be scrapped (two months after I finished paying for The Shuttle of Death… which I affectionately called it). So, I learned my lesson. You get a car in for maintenance and for Pete’s sake make sure you get the oil changed on time. I bought my Ford Focus (Way sexier than aforementioned Mini Van… I have a boyfriend now, thank you very much :) from Pundmann Ford back in October 2012 and have had it in regularly for maintenance. Again, I learned that lesson. Today, when I had the oil changed (I know, I know, you are thinking FINALLY we are getting to the point of this story), my service advisor Rich informed me that he had also rotated the tires for FREE because I had purchased my tires from Pundmann and he saw that it was time to do so. I don’t care if Rich is a member of the psychic network or just checked my files, this was AWESOME customer service in my opinion. Knowing just a tad about car maintenance from The Shuttle of Death experience, I know that tires must be rotated so they wear evenly. However, I just don’t learn these lessons until something bad happens. Rich probably saved me from having to put two new tires on down the road, way sooner than the life of the tire should be. Go to Pundman, folks! They will sure to keep your car running properly and would NEVER let you buy a non sexy vehicle… unless of course, you are married with children :)

This place is awful! Took my wife there to buy a new car and was dealing with the Gm I think his name is Matt it is a little short bald guy that is quite possibly the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with, We were dealing with him on a Vehicle and he told us that he had things that he’d rather be doing he didn’t have time to deal with it. Then he raised his voice and said I have a kid at home that I’d much rather be seeing than doing this. Just a all-​around awful experience and he was terrible even our sales person apologized for the way he spoke to us after he walked away. Needless to say, We save 2000 more dollars at Marshall Ford and it was a breath of fresh air, It was my wife’s first vehicle she had ever bought and I didn’t want her thinking all dealers are like this. Work on your customer service Pudmann

Sooo… Sometimes when I’m feeling frisky I love to hit curbs in my Ford Fusion. Not just a little love tap on the curb, I mean a full-​on smack and then going completely up and over it. It’s awesome, really. Today was one of those days.
My friends at Pundmann (especially Joe, my BFF) came to my rescue again! I had AAA come change my tire, then I took it over to assess the damage. Somehow I knocked the hubcap off and bent the entire wheel (I’m talented, I’m telling you) but we managed to find a good used wheel for $ 300.
Aside from a dramatic & especially sweaty morning, my car looks alright and is a little less pissed off at me after taking it to Pundmann. If only we lived in a curb-​less world…
