History

Established in 2008.

Built and Managed by Scott and Kristin Whiteside of St. Charles. Opened in July 2008. Proud to serve our neighbors in St. Charles, Midtown, Frenchtown, Stable Ridge, New Town, Charlestown, Orchard Farm, East Alton, Portage de Sioux, St. Peters and all other surrounding areas. We have taken extra care in building and maintaining a clean facility. We are available to help you with your storage needs.

Business Owner

Scott has been a small business owner in St. Charles since 1989 when he began working with his dad, Ken Whiteside, at Mope’s Bar in St. Charles. After closing the family-​owned bar in 1999, Scott went into the Commercial Real Estate business and works for Shockley Realty in St. Charles. Scott and his wife, Kristin, built and own their own warehouse in St. Charles and decided to venture into Self-​storage to build a family business once again. With much time spent on studying the industry and contracting with industry professionals, Ample Storage was opened in July of 2008 after many hurdles. Dreams include continuing to expand in the Self-​storage industry.
