The First Friday Artwalk is a free, festive and fun event hosted the first friday of every month by a collaborative group of local galleries promoting local, original art. You will enjoy Art Exhibits, Live Music, Light Refreshments and Free Trolley Tours during this city-​wide event. The event starts at Rembrandtz Gallery, 131 King Street at 5pm the first friday of every month and includes over 20 participating galleries through out the historic city of Saint Augustine, Florida.

History

Established in 1995.

First Friday Artwalk is a collaborative group of local, independent galleries in St Augustine, Florida. Together we promote a wide variety of art forms and mediums, including paintings, sculpture, pottery, glass, and much, much more. Business Owner

Kimberly Hunt is the owner of Rembrandtz Gallery, and collaboratively worked with other artists to establish First Fridays. For over 15 years, she volunteered over 1000 hours a year to promote and manage the First Friday Artwalk. She explains, «Our mission was to provide an authentic, inviting and engaging experience for both locals and visitors when visiting St Augustine’s art galleries, museums and art related attractions. Now it has become a city wide event that benefits many restaurants, musicians and attractions as well.» Artwalk is free, family friendly and always opens on the First Friday of every month through out the year.
