History

Established in 1992.

James A. Curtis, a retired Navy Captain, established Curtis Pest Control, Inc. in 1992. James believed he could make a difference in the pest control industry by combining his extensive entomology knowledge with quality care and service. With his BS in Entomology from the University of Florida, and MAT in Biology from The Citadel, he is thoroughly educated in the pest control field. He, his son Kevin Curtis, and Alan Dismore became certified by the state and have spent the last 17 years building the company. Our first office was in Jacksonville, now run by Kevn, and after its success, we opened our St. Augustine office, now run by Alan.

Manager

Alan received his BA in Communications from Valdosta State University and shortly thereafter entered the pest control field. In 1992 he began his employment with C.P.C. and has since worked his way up from a field technician to Certified Pest Control Operator/​Manager of our St. Augustine branch, as well as part owner of our company.
