Warners Snack Bar

This summer we one day had a milkshake craving strike! We decided to try out milkshakes from Warners, we loved them. My boyfriend likes his shakes nice and thick and these ones were almost too thick! Since we didn’t get any food here, I added it to my list of To-​Tries! I would write a review after ordering a meal.
Well today was that day!
The good: Food came out fast, hot and yummy. Service was prompt and to the point. The seats were comfy and the place was clean.
The bad: Small burgers at a high price point. My burgers bun fell apart in two bites and the contents were spilling out at a alarming rate.
I got the pineapple cheeseburger and while I really liked it, it should have really been on a larger roll so there is more space for the toppings to move around. My boyfriend said it was one of the better burgers he has had but wouldn’t get it again because it wasn’t filling enough and cost too much. (We compare all burger joints with five guys burgers which are huge, delicious and in the medium price range for burgers)

Maybe Warners used to be good back in the day but not so much now. Tastes like all their food is frozen and not fresh. For what you get, the prices are exorbitant. I know there are a lot of people who like this place but I fail to see the allure. I don’t like McDonald’s either but I would rather go there if I had to choose between the two. I hope the rumors are true and Warners is being replaced with an Applebys!

The food was alright. Prices were a little up there for the quantity of food I got. But I must say, they’re milkshakes are pretty good. Lots of kinds to choose from. Friendly service.

This place is great comfort food. No surprises. Never a long wait. Everything served piping hot. Friendly helpful young staff. Owner is back there every day. Consistent menu.

What a great food stop! The menu is huge and I’ve only been able to try a few items so far. I like their sandwiches and the chicken tenders are nicely breaded and are tasty (without cheap, tendon-​filled chicken pieces). There is all kinds of seating indoors, on the patio or out on the lawn. No waitstaff, it’s order and pickup only. Prices are a bit high for a place like this but they are usually quick and the food always comes out good.

If you like in and out burger this place is for you! Burgers are pure juicy joy! Dont be a fool order two.

This is THE MOST GLUTEN FREE FRIENDLY RESTAURANT in St Albans. The have an exclusive gluten free prep area and dedicated gluten free deep fryer. My goodness i can have fries again. Better yet tater tots. Their cheese burger comes on a very tasty gluten free roll, not dry and crumbly like others I’ve tried. So far this is the ONLY place i feel safe eating out without fear of cross contamination of gluten to my food. Any amount of gluten leaves me very sick and Warner’s never fails to deliver a great meal with zero worry. Thank you to the 5 star staff and food of Warner’s snack bar. See you next week.

My Wife and I stopped here for the first time yesterday. And we were surprised! It doesn’t look like much from the outside however inside is where you want to be!
First of all, never having been there we appreciated that they had their entire menu posted outside the main door so you can look and decide what you want before you even go into the building. And their menu is HUGE!
After going in, you walk up to the counter and place and order which they holler back to the kitchen, no computer screens for them! I got the fan favorite # 4, the Pineapple Cheeseburger and my Wife got the Fan favorite # 2, the Chili Cheeseburger. We shared a small order of sweet potatoes fries and each got a drink, for $ 22.00
I took a look at their salad bar, and it was BIG! Everything was fresh. You can build your own salad and pay by weight or have them build one of their menu salads for you.
After ordering and paying they give you a receipt, find your seat and wait for your number to be called. We waited less than 5 minutes. It was lunch time when we went and they were busy.
Serving size was about the same as McDonalds Medium size. Although you could tell the burgers were fresh hamburger and not a frozen patty here!
If you are in the St Albans area and want something quick for lunch, don’t go to McDonalds, Taco Bell, or Burger King. Keep your money local and eat here.

Get off the highway and go. You can get your shakes in thick, medium or thin. Big menu of home made comfort foods. Had the meatloaf– the sauce was very good, make sure to get extra on your mashed potatoes. Thought Guy Fieri was going to walk in any minute to film an episode of Diners, Drive-​Ins and Dives.
