The Vet insisted we test my dog foe Valley Fever when there was no indication of such a problem. The test is $ 300 and that was the only reason why. It was shameful to use the love of your animal against you to make money

Mediocre. As a business a bit of a flop. They will leave you sitting for half an hour after your appt time when there is no one else there. They over-​charge but who doesn’t these days. If you are expecting to have a veterinarian for the life time of your pet this is not the place. They seem to have a very high turn over.
Pluses are that for the most part everyone seems fairly nice. (When they aren’t talking down to you assuming that you are a moron) the vets I have been through are all pleasant. And the hours are very nice.

VCA Valley Animal Hospital of Sahuarita was wonderful. They were very accommodating about getting Miss Kitty in A.S.A.P, were upfront about the cost, and everyone was very loving to Miss Kitty. Her follow up visit was the same, friendly, thorough, and very caring in a calm environment. Kitty is doing great and I have found a wonderful support team. Thanks to everyone at VCA!!!

I have been working and training police dogs for 20 years and both of the animal valley clinics are amazing. They diagnosed my retired detection canine with an extremely rare disease and with their knowledge and proper diagnosis LEO is still with us..

Since their clinic were close, I took my new puppy to VCA for her puppy shots. Was then quoted $ 350 to spay her. Since I am on a fixed income, that was out of the question. Sought quotes from other vets and got her spay for $ 99 in Tucson in a friendly, clean clinic. Just called VCA about heartworm concern and was told it would be $ 45 for the examine, $ 40 for the heartworm test and $ 56 for a years supply of heartworm prevention medicine. $ 141 REALLY! Called another vet and was told…“Since the mosquito plays an essential role in the heartworm life cycle, and the heat and low humid in southern AZ keep the mosquito population VERY low, Heartworm has NEVER been a problem in Southern Arizona”. My dog didn’t even need to be on heartworm prevention medicine but they were going to charge me $ 141 and give my dog unnecessary medicine. These people are just out for money and take advantage of the higher income level of Rancho Sahuarita residence. NEVER AGAIN!

Called this morning to make an appointment to get a Giant rabbit neutered. Couldn’t do it until the first week of November and didn’t even know what it would cost (wanted me to leave a voicemail on the doctor’s line so someone could get back to me). 3 weeks out means they need more staff and not knowing standard pricing for animal altering? I’d really rather find an office better organized than that, thank you.

Took my cat in for treatment when we found a lump behind her ear. I must add that this cat is a handful and had seriously bloodied her previous vet during an exam. VCA was able to deal with her and got her fixed up and updated her vaccines. They kept us informed as to what was going on and what it would cost all during our visit. Dr. Katie and her staff were very refreshing to deal with. Thanks VCA!

I have had nothing but good experiences with Valley. It’s so nice to not have to drive all the way to Tucson! Both vets are very nice and the whole staff is very good with my elderly cat and dog. The staff even sent a sympathy card to my daughter when her little rat died. It meant a lot to her and to me. I used the grooming service for the first time yesterday, they did a first time shave on my 12 year old cat. They were so patient with him and he looks great.

Had to take my Pug in one Saturday morning for an emergency. He was swiftly taken care and as was I. All of the staff was extremely nice and friendly. Was given an estimate of which I thought was reasonably priced, came back later that afternoon after his surgery and found out that it was actually less then they had thought. Will continue to take my pets here.

I am so thankful this place is now in Sahuarita, as driving to the Tucson location wasnt always easy. I now bring both my dogs here instead of their regular vet because Dr. Arntzen and her staff are amazing people. They are always able to get you in for your animal to be seen in a timely mannor. Recently Dr. Arntzen removed a Mast Cell Tumor from my boxer and from the pre-​surgrey appt all the way up to the stiches being removed, I was so happy with the care and attention they gave me and my dog. I highly recommend this place for all your animal needs. Your pets will be well taken care of.

Will not take any of my animals there again. They are rude and just care about money. I took my dog there they told me he needed surgery and gave me a estimate of $ 600 I said ok lets do it they said cash first! I paid came to pick up my dog and it was another $ 300 then they tell me to bring him back to check up on him. O wait that was another $ 200 for 5 minutes. Do your selfs a Cavour and find another vets. I wouldn’t take a stray animal there let alone my baby

I have a very skittish dog that I had to bring to the vet because his fur got matted badly but hates baths. They said they might have to put him under to help him but the staff tried to shave him without sedation and they succeeded! Saved me tons of money and they were so wonderful with my crazy dog. Highly recommend!
