Established in 2014.

Tom & Marilyn opened their new business, Hi Fi Shoppe in the Spring of 2014. Prior to this location they owned and operated The Listening Room for 33 years.

Business Owner

Tom & Marilyn grew up on farms in the Frankenmuth area. They met in High School and married right after graduating from High School.

Tom then attended college at DeVry University in Chicago where he obtained his associates degree in electronics engineering. While living in Chicago, they established their love of music, attending concerts and enjoying the sounds of the city.

Returning back to the Saginaw area after graduating, they both obtained jobs at Playback in the Fashion Square Mall. Tom managed 2 of their locations, the Saginaw and Grand Rapids location.

After Playback closed their 65 store chain Tom & Marilyn, along with a partner opened their first business, The Listening Room. Their passion in their business was to provide the Saginaw area and beyond superb sounding music systems. As well as dynamic surround sound and home theater systems.

With their new business, Hi Fi Shoppe, they are back to their roots offering some of the best in Hi Fidelity music available.
