Thunderbrew Coffee Company

My family loves this place!!! Great food and coffee… Highly recommend the chicken Alfredo pizza!!! The ambience is great too. We love the bands that come in a few times a week. It makes it fun. Service was good.

This was the first place I went to which also introduced me to the culture of coffee. Thunderbrew has a special place in my heart, I’ve performed here, and spent a lot of money here. I like to think of thunderbrew as a mans coffee shop. It’s not high end or fancy, it’s minimalistic and straight to the point, like a man. I long to come back again and see my barista buddies. Until then, I recommend this place to anyone who just wants to go to a coffee place, get a good drink, and do work. And if not there’s live music very often. The drinks are great, I mean, it’s a coffee shop. It’s a place to experiment with your different tastes and learn what you like and to have conversation and be a man.

Excellent coffee. Roast their own. Rich flavor. Excellent soup and sandwiches. Owner involved and conscientious.

Just tried this place for the first time today been wanting to try it finally got the iced chai tea and my girlfriend got a off menu special the green tea thunder freeze and they both were perfect and exploding with flavor love this place and will return!

As much as I like supporting local business, the food is horrible. Melted shredded cheese sitting atop an egg patty, with absolutely zero taste. Had to had head over to Tonys immediately.

Third visit– each a bust for different reasons but I give up–
First visit was opening week. I was excited to have someplace nearer Hemlock– very poor service and poor product. Had a Breve which was scorched. the cream was overcooked. yuck.
Second visit– asked for a bagel but there were none. the baked goods looked wonderful but I did not want sweet so I asked for the least sweet item. I don’t recall what appeared but it was a diabetic shocker. I could not savor it.
Third visit was today. After seeing a sign on M-​46 stating there would be coffee roasting demo on Friday and Saturday, I called to confirm the hours. A woman enthused that, yes, Saturday would be from midday to 4p.m. under a tent and it would be fun. We drove in, 9 miles each way, and arrived at a very empty parking lot. Entering we saw 3 customers at a table. A man emerged from the kitchen to ask a detail of their order and exited. A woman busied herself while we looked around, read the menu, saw no other activity but did see what appeared to be a small roaster. Hope– The woman finally acknowledged us saying it will be just a minute. That was it for quite a while. When she did ask us what it is we wanted I indicated the sign out front and said we were here for that event. She went to the kitchen and emerged stating he said there may be something in about an hour or so. I said the sign says midday to 4p.m. (could have been 5p.m.) and she said that’s what he said. Amazed, we headed out and heard her mumble sorry. That was it.
I’ll never return. Even the bakery cases were not attractive. The prices seemed high. Since we received neither service nor product I cannot comment on either. However, my disappointment is palpable and I would never recommend this to anyone.

I love the atmosphere! You can stop in to work and have a yummy coffee or cookie or muffin or come in for lunch. They have great soups and wraps and even a drive through if you are in a hurry. I’ve been there many times and will continue to go back to support local business!
