Just got off the phone with Charter and Wow am I ever disappointed with a company. Order the Mcgregor vs Aldo UFC ppv last month and when I switched on nothing but a blank screen. Called Charter and sat on the phone for over a half hour waiting for a service rep. 30 minutes into the biggest ppv of the year and I was missing it. Finally after the half hour someone answered and I was told they were having issues with the HD feed and he apologized and said he’d turn on the SD feed ppv for free and would take the other charge off my bill. Big surprise just got my bill and I was charged twice and only one ppv was subtracted. So I was charged full price for a ppv that I missed over a half hour of. I called charter and explained the situation and the rep told me after being on hold repeatedly that his supervisor said they couldn’t do anything about it. So I asked to speak to the supervisor and yet another long hold till she finally got on the phone. I reexplained the situation again to her and she confirmed she saw that the HD feed wasn’t working that I talked to someone a half hour into the ppv and was switched over to the SD ppv. But she seemed to think that was fine and I should pay the full 59.99 for the ppv despite missing the first fight of the card. After I said you expect me to pay full price after your feed wasn’t working and I missed 30 minutes of the ppv and was told it be free, she said she could give me a one time 10.00 discount. Big deal thanks a bunch. She then asked if I had anymore questions which I replied yes can I have your name. Her response was«Okay then, goodbye». Click she hung up and I was sent to the automated survey. I order the UFC ppvs nearly every month usually through my xbox. What a mistake trusting Charter was!!! Bad ppv service then terrible service from one of your supervisors. I would say I hope future ppvs don’t go this way but I learned my lesson and I’ll find another way to order them.
