Kellar’s Canine Academy

My bulldog Ella and I have been taking agility classes with them for almost a year (with a bit of a break). Nikki is a fantastic teacher! Ella is a fast learner, but I need lots of help. haha Nikki is patient and really explains things well. LOVE Kellar’s!

Kellar’s Canine Adademy is a gem in Bergen County. It’s been open in Saddle Brook for a year this month and hopefully will be there for years to come. There are a really wide variety of training classes available and at varying skill levels to keep dogs learning. The classes rangefrom beginners to advanced obedience, to tricks, nosework and a wide variety of Agility classes. Jodi Kellar who runs the facility is an Agility expert and her dogs have many Agility titles so she knows how to teach agility!
My dog Lucky and I first did Agility with Kellar’s when it was in a previous location several years ago and just started a Canine Tricks class today. The class was an absolute joy!!! My dog had the absolute best time learning his tricks and the trainer was so knowledgable and helpful. I think we are going to get a lot out of this class and I“m so happy we signed up.
I also took a Pet First Aid class at Kellar’s Canine Academy over the summer. I even learned dog CPR. The topic is not something any pet owner likes to dwell on, but I feel so relieved now knowing I have the tools to react appropriately if the time ever comes and possibly to save my dog’s life.
