This place is terrible. Sometimes these dumpy little hole-in-the-wall places are fabulous. But this one is just dumpy. Frozen pot stickers. This is just a near campus, college kid hole. Don’t bother.

Worth the wait… Don’t expect fast food, it takes a while to cook your order but the result makes up for it and then some. Food is fresh and hot! Staff here is super friendly, portions are gigantic which explains the slightly higher price per item. Expect to eat for 2 days, lol. New name is Spicy House, I recommend highly!!! Ask for extra spicy if you like it hot, although there’s some spice I think they cater more to those of the mild spicy taste.

Don’t let negative comments draw you away from this place. It is under new management but I think the food is great. The owners are nicer each time I come and they have lunch combos from the time they open until 3 pm i believe Only you can judge this place with your taste buds

I used to love this place! I had been almost once a week throughout the school semester. When school let out i hadn’t been in a very long time(nowhere near home and the new semester left no time to grab a bite). I was so thrilled when I got the chance to go back and it was horrible! I see here that there is some new ownership and maybe that is the reason, but I was so dissatisfied with the food and service! I don’t plan on going back again, it is just not what it used to be unfortunately!

I ordered the sesame chicken lunch combination with half fried rice and half chow mein along with some pot stickers, to go. There were no redeeming qualities about any of the food I ordered. The sesame chicken looked unnaturally cubed and the sauce was just unnatural and disgusting. In fact, none of the food looked right. The chow mein looked like plastic and the pot stickers appeared to be greenish on the outside. I ate one pot sticker and the other five are now denizens of my wastebasket, along with the overwhelming majority of the lunch combo. This is going to be a five coke day, just to rinse that taste out of my mouth.

Disappointed. Will not eat there again. Food bla. No real flavor. Thought perhaps with management change again it would get better. Used to be an great place to eat. For past 3 years NOT so. Ordered combo plate. Sweet sour pork with chow mein. Waste of our time.

Man, where do I begin. This place was AMAZING before the new owners took over. It was very tasty and you got a good serving. Always got the Kung Pao Chicken. The chow mein was tasty and the fried rice was nice. Now that the new owners are their, the menu got smaller and the food lost it’s taste. Either I go during the«slow» portion of the day, or this place is ALWAYS slow. With the old owners, this place ALWAYS had people in it.

Ordered a couple different chicken plates and did not taste like chicken at all! The sauces they put on it are way too sweet and nasty just gross. The service is nice but food quality just wasn’t there. Wont ever go back.

I’ve ate here a couple time and I’m must say Wings kitchen hasn’t let me down yet. Friendly atmosphere, decent service, and of course the food keep me coming back.

So I used to come here all the time when I was in like 5th grade(I’m now 24) and it was always so amaze. my friends and i would spend hours at our table just hanging out and talking about our(then) important problems only someone in elementary school would understand. Now days, it’s definitely a different feel. Wing’s has since undergone new management and they definitely have new cooks. The inside still feels the same(the gigantic painting of the Great Wall still remains mounted as in years prior) and there have since been major improvements to the inside(carpet is new, tables/chairs look a little different). Thankfully, the owners are very clean, and every table looked pristine, and the carpet vacuumed. The menu is also different with different specials(tho great pricing still). Today I sampled the garlic sauce beef combo which was both spicy and sweet(interesting mix) and the beef was set in a variety if vegetables. Since it was a combo plate there was a side of fried rice and chow mein — wasn’t a huge fan of the rice, but it was passable. The total came to 5.70 plus tax(normally the combo’s are 4.70 during lunch, which is til 3pm, but if you get it during dinner they add a dollar). I also had a diet Pepsi so my grand total was 8.10. All in all my experience was nice. I chatted it up with the new owners, reminisced on old memories with my elementary school friends and had a good lunch/early dinner.

This is the roommate and my go to spot for Chinese. So close and the prices are very good, especially lunch specials. Only had a few items so far but I’m looking to cross off quite a few more off my list. I’ve never been inside but I’ve been told the woman uses an abacus, that’s old school and I love that.

NEWOWNERANDMANAGEMENT. this place used to be my favorite chinese place– cheap, fast, not overly oily. BUTWITHNEWMANAGEMENT, it turned into waste of money. The chickens got smaller, noodles with only cabbage and nothing else, and super rude cashier/server. Higher price too. but still cheapest. I would not go even if its free but if you are looking for 5 dollar chinese food, maybe.

I’m not sure if it’s due to new ownership, or I just didn’t look for quality in food like I do now. But my most recent visit to this establishment was not pleasant to the stomach area or my taste buds. The service was great, friendly and welcoming. Prepping our food did not take that long, and we received our food after ordering probably around 7 minutes after ordering. But the service and wait time doesn’t resolve the factor of food not having great quality. I do remember before when I use to eat here years ago, that the food was not so bad. Something during that duration changed their food in the wrong way. Prices for your meal are very reasonable, and can’t argue with what quantity you get in comparison of the price you are initially paying. I don’t find myself that kind of consumer, where you would sacrifice your taste buds to save a few bucks. I just recently went to my favorite Chinese restaurant not too long ago, and I must admit I’m disappointed in myself for not just going back to my go to. After consuming the food, I found my stomach in a situation where it didn’t feel to pleasant. After this recent visit I honestly do not see myself coming back here anytime soon, or anytime in the future. Due to the fact that there are other locations with better quality, and around the same price or a tad bit more expensive. I rather spend the extra few bucks and receive a meal that won’t end up hurting my stomach, or my taste buds. I’m saddened to post these remarks, because the workers and owners of this location are friendly and nice, and serve you efficiently. Until their food gets better, I have to post this location review with a low rating.

Twelve years ago we were introduced to the Wing’s(owners) by accident. They lived in the surrounding school and their young son(who has since gone off to college) was always around the neighborhood. I discovered their restaurant one afternoon while shopping at the 7-Eleven next door. The food smelled great so my little nosey self walked over to see what was making me hungry and I have been a fan ever since. My favorite is their bowls but anything you order will be delicious and satisfying. So why the four and not five stars? I learned yesterday that the Wing’s have retired and sold the business and while the food still smells great I could totally tell the different in the taste and flavor. I will give them one more try before throwing in the towel on what has been an amazing relationship. K.J.

I ate here once before a couple of weeks ago, it was with the female owner and the food and food cost were very reasonable. Came back in today and the whole place was remodeled, found out after I put my order in that they changed owners. I was very worried after reading a few reviews that people wrote in the last couple a days. The women working at the counter was very friendly and approachable. The owner was sitting down and reading the newspaper, he was also friendly. We ordered the Orange Chicken and Sweet and Sour Chicken. Both looked, smelled and tasted amazing! Nothing was soggy and everything was fresh. Will def be back when I’m to lazy to cook :)

They just re-opened under a new owner, and man, I have to say that I’m sorely disappointed with the new food. My orange chicken was an instantly soggy mess with very little flavor. The coating was literally falling right off of the meat. No more BBQ pork, either! I just wasn’t wowed by the food, and I found myself instantly looking up other options for future visits. When you start to look up other food in the middle of eating your current meal, that’s how you know you’re in bad shape.

Like a lot of other non-chain Chinese restaurants, Wings is not fancy, it’s usually pretty empty, and the ambiance is lacking.(Although I *will* note it looks cleaner than other similar Chinese places.) What Wing’s lacks in venue, they more than make up for in food. Everything we get there is consistently great. The food just always tastes fresh and well-made, and not overly greasy. I love that I can call them up and be hella picky with my order(want the chow mein all noodles and meat, no veg) and they accomodate me. Wings is the bomb!

Wow, lots of good reviews for this place, and a friend recommended it highly, but I found it underwhelming, to put it kindly. I ordered the General chicken and Mongolian beef to go. I tried both as soon as I got home, and both were still nice and hot. However, neither one of the dishes really did anything for me. General chicken: too much breading and the sauce was weirdly thick and sweet. Like way too sweet — almost tasted like there were raisins in it! Mongolian beef: flavor was OK, but the quantity of beef and onions was pretty small, and swimming in a thin sauce with many chunks of dried chilies floating around in it. The people are very nice, and the place is clean, but for the money, there are many other far better choices.

When I reminisce about my childhood, it’s hard not to think of Wing’s Kitchen. The restaurant has been around since I was in elementary school. And it rests as a prominent landmark in my mind. Wing’s Kitchen was THE place to go to for lunches and dinners with friends. As adolescents, our jokes and talks always stretched our eating time well-beyond the norm. But we were never rushed out of the restaurant. The other workers and the cooks were always friendly and welcoming. They recognized us from our frequent visits and often took time to inquire about us. Through the years, we got to know the lady there. She recognized us upon our visits years later. The lunch specials and combination specials always won me over. How could you pass up such a deal? You can get a side and an entrée, or two sides and an entrée for about $ 7. Not bad for the huge portions they dished out. And it was always delicious! My favorites: lemon chicken, garlic chicken, and kung pao chicken, all with chow mein. There’s also a soft tofu stir fry dish with vegetables, but I can’t remember what it’s called. Get that one with fried rice. I recently visited the restaurant and I’m happy to say the food quality has not changed. It’s still as good as I remember it to be. Student-friendly prices, large portions, and excellent food quality? What’s there not to love about Wing’s Kitchen? :]
