Great Florist! Kathy did the flowers for our wedding at Granite Bay Golf Course in May 2016. She deserves 4 – 5 stars. She was amazing. I had no concept in mind, but with some pictures and likes and don’t likes, Kathy and her team made some amazing floral arrangements. Every detail was perfect. All of the members of my family cried when they saw the way that Grandma’s hankerchief was attached with such care. I wish I had a picture to share.
She made me colorful arrangements for the bouquets and table decorations. She even did multiple different table arrangements with flowers and candles so all tables didn’t look exactly the same.
Everyone was talking about the flowers.
She was highly recommended to us, and we highly recommend her to you.

Amazing customer service. I called the day of and ordered a wrist corsage for my 10 year old. She is petite and I needed something small. When the woman on the phone asked me if I’d like red flowers I told her that my daughters dress was a turquoise blue so that wouldn’t work. We agreed on white. I was so happy with the end result. The florist really tailored this for my kiddo. It was perfect.

I’ve been going to Cathy for years. Any time I go in there, I get a great bouquet for great prices. The flowers and arrangements are always nice, last longer than most places, and are VERY reasonably priced.
When I got married, it was a no-​brainer to use Visual Impact. Once again, I was very happy with the product we received. More importantly, my wife was happy. Cathy and her team are pros.

Simply amazing!!! Kathy and Carissa did my flowers and décor for my wedding last week. I knew it would be beautiful but it was honestly the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen! I had showed them some ideas from my Pinterest when I booked with them and they got exactly what I was looking for. They are also super easy to work with, always respond to emails, and were there on the wedding day to make sure everything looked beautiful. They even assisted in flipping the room when it was time for the reception. I was soooooo happy with Visual Impact and would recommend them a million times.

When I met with Cathy, I showed her the centerpiece in one of her catalogs that I really liked. Unfortunately it was a little overpriced ($ 450 for one centerpiece) and we came up with a compromise of $ 150 per centerpiece with the difference of a a lesser amount of flowers. Cathy’s definition of less flowers consisted of cutting the normal 10+ variety of flowers to 2 different flowers, hydrangeas and tulips, the least expensive flowers on the market and yet I paid $ 150 per centerpiece. Her execution of the design was also completely different than what we talked about. Will not recommend.

Cathy did my wedding flowers and I can’t even say how pleased I was. I never expected to be so happy with my flowers. I had a vision in my head of what I wanted and it was amazing to see Cathy’s interpetation of my vision on my wedding day. The centerpieces and bouquets were perfect. Cathy and her team made 3 bouquets and a boutonnière for my wedding in May. They did a wonderful job! I gave them a rough idea of what I wanted and they pulled through. They even wrapped them up with ribbons I requested and put some photos of my grandpas around my bridal bouquet. They were easy to work with and responsive and all around lovely. Highly recommend :)

I hired Cathy and her team at Visual Impact to do my personal flowers (bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres) and altar piece for my wedding Memorial Day Weekend and I could not have been happier!
From our first planning meeting, I could tell that Cathy was different than the other florists I had met with. I had met with a couple of other florists and of course, had a Pinterest board of ideas of what I was looking for. Cathy was very specific in asking me particular questions about subtle differences she saw between inspiration pictures I had picked out, but had never noticed myself. She asked me about what kind of fibe I wanted for the wedding (elegant, relaxed, natural). She also made sure to ask me if there were specific flowers I wanted, didn’t want, what would be more economical and what would be more costly. I walked away feeling very confident that she would be able to create something amazing with my input.
In between the first meeting and the pick-​up date, Cathy and her team were impeccable with their communications. I always got responses in a timely manner and they let me know a week before the balance and any changes were due.
I came the morning of the wedding to pick up the flowers and I could not have been more pleased! The altar piece (which ended up being a centerpiece on the head table) was HUGE and was really, really stunning. She had used flowers I had requested specifically and added on others that really conveyed the feeling of naturalness and relaxed that I was looking for. All the guests mentioned how beautiful the flowers looked. I couldn’t have been happier.
Cathy and her team really do an amazing job and while they might not be the most economical option out there, my husband and I decided we’d rather have it done right than show up the day of and not have what we wanted. I really think Visual Impact strikes the perfect balance of affordability and very professional floral design services. I would not hesitate to recommend her to any new bride-​to-​be!

Found Visual Impact Design through KCRA’s A-​list and liked their portfolio. Met with Cathy and immediately felt that «connection» you’re supposed to feel with your wedding vendors. (This was my third try with a florist)
I had a Halloween costume wedding which some might consider taboo, however VID thoroughly embraced the opportunity to think «outside the box». My colors were chartreuse, gold, black and white stripes. I wanted drama, dark romance and VID more than delivered! Not only was corresponding with them always smooth and prompt but the flowers were absolutely breath taking! VID incorporated green spider mums with black dahlias and cosmos. Dark agonis and black feathers as accents.
Our corsages were large bright green spider mums attached to gold bands.
Even the flower girls had petite green mums to sprinkle down the aisle.
In all honesty, the flowers were my favorite part of my wedding.
Having lost a parent a month before my wedding and then a storm the day of, needless to say, my spirits were dampened a bit but when I saw those flowers it completely made my heart smile! My flowers were one of a kind, over the top, drama… more than I could’ve ever imagined.

I used Visual Impact Design as a florist for my wedding and I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the service and the beautiful display of flowers that really brought my overall theme together. Working with Cathy and the other staff was easy and assuring. There was never a moment where I was worried or stressed about the design of my floral arrangements or the cost. I gave Cathy my budget and she worked her magic and gave me exactly what I envisioned and more all the while staying within budget.

I used Visual Impact Designs for my wedding in October 2014. Cathy is honestly a very nice person and very easy to work with. I wanted simple flowers with a small budget, and she definitely delivered. We changed the order several times, and she was always flexible and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Everyone warned us flowers would be expensive and one of our biggest wedding expenses. After being warned and realizing neither of us knew a thing about flowers we actually out off finding a florist until about a month before the wedding.
With the big day rapidly approaching we met with a florist Downtown, negotiated and decided to check out Visual Impact per a friend’s recommendation. I can’t even begin to express how pleased I was with Carissa’s service. Some how she was able to visualize and design exactly what I wanted and more while still accommodating our budget. She even took a sample of our swatch to match the flowers and matched all the ribbons to our parents and bridal party attire. I really liked that she added those fine details. We didn’t need flowers for décor so we only ordered for our families and the bridal party. My fiancé at the time was so pleased with the consultation and saw how happy I was he put the deposit down before we left (I think he was also trying to avoid another consultation lol). Everyone loved our bouquets, boutineers and flowers on the cake.
Again Carissa’s customer service was remarkable. She really listened to what we wanted and helped us out by showing us pictures, samples and giving her opinion. Most of our communication after our first meeting was by email and phone. My husband picked up the flowers the morning of the wedding and everything went smoothly… until the boys forgot the flowers in the hotel room!!! SMH.
The flowers were of excellent quality. Our rose and dendrobium orchid boutineers help up well. Actually I do have to mention on side of my bouquet started to die shortly after the ceremony. I think the lisianthus were a little sensitive and got a little abused along the way. No worries though, I just hid that part when taking pictures. Overall I loved all our flowers, the design and service. I would recommend Visual Impact.

We were DREADING the anticipated cost for flowers for our wedding. We went to Visual Impact Design on our friend’s referral and I’m so glad we did! We met with Carissa for our consultation, and it was like we were kindred spirits! She was really attentive to what my fiancée, I mean my wife, was looking for, and gave us what we wanted within our budget. Carissa was super friendly, and she knew her craft, especially when she showed us pictures from her wedding.
I picked up the flowers for the cake and for our wedding day and it went without a hitch. The flowers were absolutely breathtaking, and they looked fantastic on the cake! We got comment after comment on both, and we could not be happier with the entire process. I would absolutely recommend Visual Impact Design for any floral need!
