they are good.

I love this station! I see a few others who do too. Every time I flip to 101.1, there’s some fun, nostalgic, usually quite funky song playing that will have me smiling and car-​dancing. Can’t think of a better way to enjoy my afternoon commute.
Minus one star because what you call «old school» is like, stuff I listened to in high school! I know it’s not your fault that I’m freakin’ old now (apparently), but it still bums me out. Sorry friends — sometimes life’s not fair. Keep it funky!

This is one of my top radio stations I listen to. They play all the past hits of the 70’s to the 90’s. Even some 50’s & 60’s thrown in. I’m partial to the «old school» music because I grew up with it. So of course, every song I hear brings back some sort of memory. I was a dancing fool back in the 70’s & 80’s. Partying was what I lived for. Now that I’m nearing the geriatric generation, I at least have this station to keep a smile on my face and flashbacks of days gone by…

I love this radio station, KHYL FM V101.1 when I hit Benicia then I can listen til I get to Sacramento. R & B, Old School, Quiet Storm, Smooth Soul music. Reminds me of Kiss FM 98.1 in the SF Bay Area.
They have a old school dance on Thursdays at the Doubletree in Sac.
I want to check it out, definately can dance West Coast Swing, WCS to this type of music.
When I am on my computer, I can listen to a live stream of the station.
