It is rare for me to find a doctors office where everyone is so kind. You can not get better than this place.

UC Davis Dermatology has phototherapy equipment that is not available anywhere else in California. I moved to Sacramento because of this department’s equipment. The phototherapy nurses are usually upbeat and helpful which makes such a difference when you have to be treated several times a week. I deducted one point because the maintenance is below what it should be for a medical facility and the re-​done parking lot has such undersized spaces that door-​dings are inevitable. No points off for the services or employees.

This place is awful. They charge more than any other medical facility I’ve ever been to. The billing representatives are rude and not helpful at all. I had a small procedure done and was charged like it was a major surgery. I will never come back here and I will make sure that everyone I know does not either.

This review is strictly for the Esthetician Teri. She was great, I just had a free consultation when I stopped by to buy some Neocutis product (UC derm is one of the only places in sac that carries it!). Anyway she was very nice and easy to talk to, I scheduled a facial with her in 6 weeks so I will update this review then. Only thing I didn’t particularly like was that it shares an office with pediatrics, it was kind of awkward. I felt really guilty in a waiting room with sick kids and worried new parents while i was waiting to get my skin beautified.

I am becoming more and more disappointed in UCD. My last contact was with the dermatology department. The front staff is friendly, but so unhappy with the residents. I have had red spots on skin for over 15 weeks. Still have and and never received an answer as to what it is. Have used three different creams and finally told to use lotion and that skin changes as you age. The resident was extremely rude and condescending. If I could I would go elsewhere, but hard with HMO. Very unhappy with this department.

The staff here are friendly and the offices and waiting room are clean and modern.
The main issue I have here is the long wait for appointments. Ive been here 4 times and have always had to wait 3 – 4 weeks for an appointment. The most recent appointment I made is over 60 days out. When suffering from a skin problem the last thing I want to do is wait 2 months to be treated.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful and the doctors are good listeners. I don’t have any major skin problems, so when I was with Kaiser, I felt like my worries were ignored, but they actually care here. I would recommend them to anyone who asked.
