History
Established in 2010.
My name is Kimberly Godinho and I am the proud owner of The Painted Cork Art Studios. I am an artist with a BFA which I’ve obtained from Ringling School of Art and Design. While attending RSDA I won a scholarship where I got the opportunity to live and be an artist in NYC for a semester. While there I began to teach private children’s Art teacher and fell in love with teaching. When I graduated from college, I moved up to NJ to be closer to NYC and began teaching again. After teaching for another business for quite some time, I decided that I needed to open my own painting studio and so my journey back home to California began. Upon my return, I met my husband and he became my partner in the plan. While planning the business, we noticed a couple of gals on the east coast who were teaching painting classes and allowing guests to sip wine and we loved the concept! We opened our first «paint and sip» Art Studio in Folsom in 2010 & in 2013 we opened a second studio in Sacramento.
