My wife got tickets for their show for my 31st birthday. I was looking forward to a night of laughing but it was far from funny! The writing was quite unclever and the acting bad. The sketches seemed silly and based solely on sexual double entendre, which can be good if done well – this wasn’t. We left at intermission it was so bad (first time I’ve ever done that)!

That Plus Chips is fantastic. They perform scripted sketch comedy, and they take funny very seriously. The writing is great, the actors know their lines and deliver with good timing and energy, the props are well designed and the choreography is seamless. The price is right as well, so I would highly recommend you go check them out. Local isn’t just a strategy for buying lettuce, it also means supporting homegrown artists. You won’t regret it!
