Terri Cevola, MFT

Terri Cevola has helped me so much over the last year and a half. She is an expert at what she does. She is affirming, really listens and doesn’t judge. She is a coach, a mentor and and excellent therapist. She truly enjoys helping people. Her counseling has really changed my life. She asks questions that are thought provoking and which really help me figure things out. She has also counseled two of my kids and they agree that she is wonderful too. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Also, she is one of the kindest people I know.

Terri was my first experience with a therapist, which I decided to try because I had six free sessions through my employer. She was late to every appointment except the first appointment, and at one point so late during one session that I left after 30 minutes of waiting without ever seeing another living soul as I sat in her waiting room. After that, she later called me, apologizing and asking for another chance, and when I agreed to give it another go, she was unable to find my paperwork during the actual session, and we spent the 35 minutes (because she was running behind again, so I didn’t get the full hour) rehashing the basics that she should have already known.
At the end of that appointment, I agreed to make one last appointment since my EAP coverage provided as much, but her paper calendar was not set up far enough to book an appointment, so she said she’d call me to set up a time once she worked it all out.
She never called.
Sorry, Terri. She is a sweet, sweet woman and a wonderful soul, but I don’t think that automatically makes her a great therapist.
