Stage Nine Entertainment Store, located centrally in Old Sacramento and encompassing the entire corner of Front and K Street, is one of Old Sacramento’s most popular destinations.

Stage Nine Entertainment Store is first and foremost a specialty retailer focusing on everything relating to movies and pop culture. Stage Nine is the only store in the Western United states to hold such a diverse inventory. Stage Nine specializes in unique and one-​of-​a-​kind movie memorabilia and props, celebrity stills and photographs, movie posters, toys, Hollywood-​themed items and much more.

Stage Nine Entertainment Store is also home to «The Vault», which is considered by Disney Fine Art to be one of the most highly respected and successful privately-​owned Animation Art galleries in Northern California.

Newest to the Stage Nine family of stores is «California Clothiers» which carries a great collection of California and novelty themed clothing from t-​shirts, sweatshirts and more.

History

Established in 1999.

Stage Nine Entertainment Group has had a long and exciting history. Starting in 1991 as a quaint shop in Old Sacramento, we have since embarked on many successful endeavors. Some highlights include:

1991– First retail store opened, «Old Sacramento Giftique»

1999 — Third and most ambitious to date retail store opened — «Stage Nine Entertainment Store»

2000 — Developed «Sacramento Jazz Jubilee» Fundraiser Program

2005 — Entered into a fundraising partnership with the Susan G Komen in Sacramento, CA

2005 — Opened sixth retail operation entitled «G. Willikers Toy Emporium» in Old Sacramento, CA

2006 — Developed first in a series of Disney, «Destination Sacramento Art Prints» with the Walt Disney Company

2007 — Debuted the Disney Fine Art Trip and opened the «Stage Nine Vault», our seventh retail store

2008 — Become partner of «What Cheer Building» in Old Sacramento

2009– Stage Nine selected to manage all retail sales for the Boy Scouts 100th Anniversary Celebration

The store is beyond nice that’s why when I come to old Sacramento with my family this is one the first store we enter but from what happens today we are never coming back horrible customer service not the first time a incident had happened but the second time today we parked at a different parking garage we have two kids one is 10 and my other one is 1 will we decided to enter the toy store near by first we purchased couple items which one include a book and a pen/​highlighter will second store to enter was here will we was looking around shopping when the cashier and another employee made a woaaa sound and said you need to pay for that «my daughter one year old «was writing on her book that I bought at the other store for 3.99» will for me that’s really insulting you don’t talk to a customer like that made it seem I wasn’t going to pay for it if the «item» was from there like who did she think I was I took it really offensive and I did told her that was rude and insulting so does that mean I can’t open an item I bought at a different store it’s not my fault they must sale that particular book everywhere I would’ve understood if maybe she said it differently and that’s a maybe or if she didn’t see the other store bag hanging of my stroller. She could’ve also waited until I bought something and said a joke or she could’ve look at the cameras to see what we entered with but her going out of her way and made a loud woaa and insulting us was really wrong my husband, MotherNlaw and my son were going to buy something I told them what happen and we immediate left the store thank god I always keep my Recipes of everything I buy and I should’ve just let her seen it even after she said what she said so she could’ve understand more what she did was wrong my 10 year old son herd everything that was just so wrong. We shop all lot from all kinds of stores and we never had experienced this ever I open this app today I’m new to this I knew about it but never had time for this but when something horrible like that happens you want to spread the feeling so hopefully no one feels like we felt today

Love this store! So many amazing goodies, knick knacks and treasures. I was in love with all the Disney & Thomas Kinkade canvases, I wish I had unlimited funds for all those gorgeous pieces.

Pretty cool store in Old Sacramento. They have tons and tons of themed items like Disney, Thomas Kincaid, Star Wars, Star Trek, actors and actresses, etc. They also have Sacramento themed things in there. Prices are about normal– maybe like $ 3 more than online– but I’m sure it’s about that with shipping. They have so much knick knack stuff in there that the kids just love!

On 9÷4÷2015 during the Gold Rush Days in Old Sacramento, I went to Stage Nine Entertainment store for the first time. As I entered, the atmosphere is totally wicked! It has all the entertainment souvenirs, artifacts, and collectibles, so you can own it for yourself for many generations.
The service is very good for keeping the customers happy and ongoing for finding items, and providing suggestions and recommendations too. No complaints at all!
In this store, they have well known movies, TV shows, video games, and animé characters right here. It feels like living in a Hollywood museum’s gift shop in my opinion. I haven’t own any of their items in this store which it cost more $$ to spend, so I decided to come back in the next visits to find some great finds available.
The parking is harder to park. You can park at the nearest garage available near Old Sacramento and Downtown. Otherwise, you can ride a bike, walk, or use public transportation easier without the hassles.
In the end, Stage Nine Entertainment is the greatest, and the finest store ever in Old Sacramento directly from Hollywood. Perfect for residents and tourists alike. A well, worthy visit!

My favorite store in Old Sac! They have a wide variety of toys and collectibles from Marvel, Dr Who, Disney, GoT, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, etc. But they also have an awesome memorabilia section with artwork from various genres, such as cells from the original xmen signed by Stan Lee.
Thank God my bank account reminded me that I couldn’t buy everything I wanted from that store or I’d come home with a carload of nerdy goodness after every visit.

We’ve been here a few times now. This place brings the the little kid out of us. Lol.
They’ve got all kinds of different movie collectibles. We’ve always found something every single time we’ve visited.
They’ve got anything from shirts/​sweatshirts, hats, figurines, candy, keychains, autograph photos, etc.
I found a cool Spider-​Man t~shirt here that I haven’t seen anywhere else. My buddy found a cool hat that lights up. Lol.
The people here are really nice. The store is set up by theme category. Pretty fun to browse through. For as much foot traffic coming through I am surprised that the employees can keep this place staying organized!
Oooooh! They also have cool antiques in there. We will be back to check things out. I am sure kids love this store, but adults have more fun in here! Lol.

Stopped by there on a whim, to just have a look and see what they had… HOLY COW! Collector’s heaven!
Whether you’re into Disney, Superheros, Dr Who or Star Wars, this is the place to go.
Prices aren’t too bad for Old Sacramento either — a little higher than normal, but that’s to be expected in a tourist area.
The staff member (while not being at all friendly), was also pretty helpful and able to answer all my questions.
One tip though, they don’t accept American Express cards which seems a little strange since the store is (as I said earlier) in the tourist part of town.

I went to the California State Fair and Stage 9 was there. I was surprised that they were offering fresh cotton candy at the candy exhibit hall for only $ 1. They were also offering candied nuts and selling an amazing assortment of candy for much less than what you would expect to pay at the fair! Everyone learned a lot in this magnificent interactive experience and I thought it was fantastic! All of the employees were super nice and very helpful, even when they were very busy!

This is a neat store, where most of the stuff is nerdy/​entertainment related gift shop material. Some of it was rather unique for a store, but the majority of it was just currently available merchendise. The best parts were the front door being a Tardis and the «Vault» with original art work that I can’t afford. I also just enjoyed being able to geek out a bit. =D

This is a Disney store right? Am I the only one who doesn’t think this isn’t a Disney store rebranded as another type of store? I like Old Sacramento, but if you’re here with women or children or both, then you’re really going to go into every store and browse for hours. Men, I feel your pain! I actually came to Old Sac with both and this store had them easily wandering in here, and stayed for what seemed l like hours (a bit of an exaggeration). Regardless, Disney Store.

Stage Nine is such a fun store to browse through. I’ve been going here for years, and I’ve got so many different pictures on my walls from here. They’ve got great Hollywood memorabilia and an amazing assortment of Disney and Star Wars stuff. It would absolutely be 5 stars, except that the employees are downright rude. Customer service doesn’t mean a whole lot around here, but the stuff they sell is just too damn cool to bring my experiences down too much.

Stage Nine is mighty fine.
This is a cool ass store. It is in Old Town Sacramento surrounded by other tourist stores but amazingly enough, I really loved it. So many cool toys for kids and adults. Great place for the unique gifts and stocking stuffers. If I didn’t have to be on stage, I would have stayed in this store another 35min.

SITREP
In the heart of Old Sacramento is a mecca for hardcore movie fans. And it’s called «Stage Nine.» If you are looking for some pretty choice, sometimes obscure movie posters or other cinema-​related memorabilia, this is the place.
SET-​UP
Being an obsessive Peter O’Toole fan, one of my coworkers on one of her outings told me she had a sighting of O’Toole at this store. I had to go that very afternoon and I’m glad I did!
I got my humongous Lawrence of Arabia poster here and I couldn’t be happier now that it adorns the hallway at the top of my stairway at home.
But it doesn’t stop there. If you are a Disney fan, a Star Wars fan, or a fan of many many other films, you are bound to find something here. And even if you don’t find a specific movie-​related item that you may have had your heart set on, chances are that disappointment will soon be ameliorated when you see something ELSE that excites your visual receptors!
THE LOWDOWN
As the old crusty agents from the 50s used to say, «You wanna be in the movies, kid?» Well, stand in this store, cause for many of us, it’s the closest we’ll get to «mingling» with the fun spirit of those Hollywood Stars…

Man, I hate going to this store. There is always a ton of cool stuff to buy and so much more to look at. The draw back? The people that think they’re better than you because they work at Stage Nine. I have been going to this store for years and have never been greeted, helped or even acknowledged until it was time to take my money. Even then, it was as little as possible. No eye contact, no thank you, no nothing. The guy who took my money today seemed afraid that he might touch me on accident when handing me my bag.
As nice as this store is, I can’t give it more then 3 stars because of the crappy customer service.

Awesome!!! Calling all movie fanatics – this is a must see – they have a large collection of artwork/​collection items for purchase from your favorite disney and other movies – we love disney so we spent most of our time in the room dedicated to disney items. Nothing too kitschy, some of the stuff looked like it belonged in a museum!
There is so much to look, definitely need to return to do a thorough run through of the store. Organized, huge and friendly store.

Not going to lie, I haven’t seen many movies at all. But I don’t care, because this place is the shizzlenizzle. Clothing, accessories, and autographs are all over. I literally spent an hour in this little shop last time I went. It really is legit.
And there was this guy on a stepladder yelling about how we’re all sinners & going to hell on the corner outside. Now, if that isn’t ambiance, I don’t know what is.

I really like this store. This is THE place to come if you’re a movie fanatic. There’s plenty of movie décor around the shop and they even have autographed pictures and screenplays from popular movies. They carry movie toys, shirts, accessories, etc. However, my most favorite part about this store is the section connected to it called The Vault. Inside you can find many beautiful works of art — most having to do with Disney films. The painting that always catches my eye is the giant Thomas Kinkade painting of Peter Pan and co. flying over London. I would KILL to have this painting!
One downside to this store is that it is somewhat pricey. I really wanted to buy one of their Alice totes but I was shocked to see that they were asking for $ 60 for it. :(Heartbroken! It was cute too! Either way, I still love coming to this store to browse around and buy some of their vintage candy.
TIP: If you’re an Elvis fan then you should check this place out because they have a huge Elvis memorabilia section as well.
