Square Peg Remodeling

My wife is pregnant.
Her hormones surge up and plummet down making her emotions and my sanity very fragile. Every move could be my last, and yet, I have to keep accommodating her lest I start cutting child support checks.
You’re wondering why any of this is relevant.
My pregnant wife, on a whim, decides she wants to remodel the bathroom. Not paint. Not a new towel rack. Down to the studs remodel.
After several bids, including some from Costco, we found Square Peg Remodeling. The owner Travis and his company were just what my wife was looking for: new tile, new shower enclosure, new floor.
Travis gave a very efficient estimate, and he answered all my questions in a way that made me feel like part of the process rather than an annoyance. I gave him a number I wanted to spend, and he met me close to that number; he didn’t try to sell me on things I didn’t want, and he didn’t go over budget from his initial estimate.
There was some dry rot behind the shower, be he took care of it without adding to the original estimate. And whenever my wife changed her mind about something, Travis was always available by phone to walk me through the different options. Considering my wife was hormonal and slightly insane, Travis did an excellent job keep her (and me) satisfied with the project.
Travis used some subcontractors for the drywall, tile, and shower work, but all his people seemed nice, and, most importantly, skilled. I met many of the subcontractors face-​to-​face and they all seemed like they had been working with Travis for many years; these weren’t some random people Travis hired for my house only.
The process took a bit longer than anticipated by about two weeks, but I would rather go over on the timeline than get subpar work or go over budget.
Once the whole thing was complete, I found myself wishing I had another bathroom to remodel. Travis is a very friendly man and a wonderful bathroom remodeler. I recommend him 100%. When I have a bit more money in my bank account, my wife and I will definitely bring him back to update other parts of my house. He satisfied my wife… that is not an easy thing to do.

The owner Travis bid on a project we were doing, very professional and the best laid out bid we received. Unfortunately we did not go with him, more timing than anything else, but he was a very very close second. Definately worth a try
