Was visiting from out of town and stopped by last Sunday. What a beautiful neighborhood church! I walked in and immediately three people came over and introduced themselves. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and Reverend Ginny is wonderful. I loved how the sermon was very positive– no hellfire and brimstone talk here!
The organist played beautifully, and the church was filled with light from the stained glass windows. I will definitely attend services here again next time I am in town! They also do a very nice coffee hour afterwards with delicious scones, pastries, etc. A very nice community of people and a good mix of young and old congregants!

I was just recently introduced to this church through a friend and it is SO lovely. Everyone is very kind and welcoming but not over aggressively so. They are very LGBT friendly and have such a warm, comforting vibe. The inside is beautiful and the sermons are always relevant and uplifting. No heavy dogma but yet very spiritual. I just left feeling renewed and good, which is kind of what you’re looking for from your local church. They always have a food closet that is open quite often for those in need in the area, so you can help out there, too. There is also a charming little garden behind the church. Tons of easy parking too. Very highly recommended.

Wonderful small warm and welcoming church. I grew up in this church more than 50 years ago. It has never changed. Feels like home. The people are all very friendly and kind.

I wandered into this place because it is in my neighborhood. It quickly became an oasis of peace every week. This small community made a real effort to notice me, greet me & make
me feel welcome. I am impressed that they accomplish so much with a small band. They have
a food closet that is open 4 days a week among other projects. The church building and grounds are beautiful. Hymns are old & new. Sermons are short & always relevant. They are low pressure, long on good works, and short on dogma. Everyone is so friendly. I used to have to force myself to go to church. Now I really hate to miss it. Service at 10 AM on Sunday.
They are very progressive and welcome everyone — no exceptions.
