Shop Old Gold

Great place to find vintage fashion. I stopped in late summer and love it’s location in the Sacramento Public Market.
Besides just being a super cool place to shop, the prices were really reasonable.
If you love wearing vintage fashion or just like looking, go check them out!

Best place to buy vintage clothing! I love that the jewelry is made by locals. So beautiful! The staff could be a bit more friendly from the start.

Some great finds. Incredibly cheap. Ok, so I’m used to San Francisco, but still… I’m worried they won’t make it. It would be a shame to lose a business with so much potential.

We just happened to pop by here on a Sunday — since we were checking out the entire new WAL Public Market complex — and Shop Old Gold was one of the hidden retail store treasures on the first level of the coplex.
THE SETUP
From alternative clothing items to vintage era accessories, Shop Old Gold has a lot of different things to check out.
Besides clothing and boots, the store also has on display some unique items that include sculptured figures:
FEMALE DOMINANT
I will say right off that the retail inventory of this shop definitely favors the female shopper. However, that is not to say that the gentleman will not find a nice bolo tie /​pendant:

THE LOWDOWN
Bottom line: the inventory & products are very unique and changing, so it pays to make a visit to check out what’s for sale. And then probably come back a month or so down the line to see what else is new.

My husband and I didn’t even know shops were open in the WAL Marketplace. But we were pleasantly surprised. We found Old Gold and did some browsing. They have men’s and women’s apparel, jewelry, décor, and other fun stuff.
My husband found a pearl button shirt he liked for a good deal! The gal tending shop was super friendly and we look forward to coming back.

Best vintage finds in sac! I found some rad platforms for under 60.00. Their jewelry is locally made… so much opal, boloties, turquoise and other pretty stones.
