My Love for Visual Art started very young. I began my hair design and makeup artestry for friends and family by providing them with hairstyles for their proms and special occasions. When I finished beauty school and started my career as Cosmetologist & Professional Makeup Artist.

I began working with local photographers specializing in makeup & hair designs for photo shoots, weddings & engagements photos, as well runway fashion shows & print advertisements. During this time I was also a Salon manager and hairstylist for a local salon in Dublin California. I took my leave from managing a salon to managing a family of 5.

When the time came, I put my visual talents to work in the event industry specializing in the coordination and management of Weddings, Corporate events and private parties. Over the years I have continued with my «first» love providing my friends & family with cuts, color, makeup and hair design for their special occasions.

I love the having the California Smooth keratin treatment done!!! Serena did a fabulous job! My hair feels and looks amazing, frizz free. One of the things that made me want to try this product is that it’s safe and 100% formaldehyde free. It last three months, can’t wait to have it done again. Thanks again Serena!!! :)

A few days ago I returned to Serena’s shop for my second appointment. I am even more pleased with this latest cut. This time, I asked Serena to cut a little length, and «get rid of more hair.» She understood exactly what I meant! My hair is a little shorter all around and my curls are more defined. I can now shampoo my hair, add a little conditioner and get defined curls; I love my hair! Thank you, Serena, you don’t disappoint! (If I’m able, I will add a picture.)

Serena is absolutely incredible!!! I have nicknamed her the hair whisperer! I have short wavy hair that is SO difficult to cut and style and control but I found the recommendations here on Unilocal saying she was great so I decided to give her a shot because I was desperate for a good cut. She just did what my hair naturally liked doing and everyone, including me, is in love with my hair! My husband even went to her and LOVES her and he has had the same hairstylist for 7 years!!! I will never go to anyone else again!

Having just moved to Sacramento last winter, I was in desperate need of a new salon. I have naturally curly hair, so finding the right stylist is important. I found Serena through Unilocal and so grateful I have. She knows exactly how to deal with natural curls. She listens to your needs and offers great ideas and tips. I always leave there looking gorgeous. Serena is a great lady, I highly recommend her.

«As good as it gets» is correct! I’m glad I found her because she’s very good at meeting your needs… in my case demands lol. I don’t care too much about how I come out of a salon as long as my hair is symmetric! One thing she said to me that will make me come back is «fix your hair as if you were at home.» I used product and a hair dryer, no other place did that for me. If I was to find anything I wanted corrected she’d do it! (i did and she did! lol). Go see her!

I had never heard of Serendipity Productions before. I was on the hunt to find someone to do my hair and makeup for a boudoir portrait shoot. I called Serendipity Productions and left a voice mail. Turns out she was in Las Vegas but took the time to call me back and talk to me. We spoke again after she returned and she was in the process of leaving one shop and opening another. She came to me to do my hair and makeup. She was SO professional and the job she did on my face and hair was incredible! I can’t begin to tell you how many compliments I received that day… and my hubby was drooling! This was the most pleasant experience! I highly recommend her for your hair and makeup… she is SO very talented and you will feel like a star by the time she is done! AND the best part? She doesn’t charge an arm and a leg! Her costs are very reasonable! Thank you, Serena… I really did feel like a million bucks when you were done.

I came to Serena today in desperation. I dyed my hair pink in chunks, and it was time to relieve myself of the less-​than-​classy do.
Serena took my appointment same day, and even offered to drop $ 20 off the bill because I was coming last minute and was in need of a hair EMERGENCY!
Serena has more than 30 years of experience, and her salon is as adorable and stylish as she is.
She fixed my color by covering the pink with a more natural red/​auburn, and used temporary dye so that if I didn’t like it, I could get it changed. She also fixed my cut (bangs and layers), while maintaining my length and bouncy style for my big curls. She washed and styled my hair at the end. She did it all for $ 60!
I am extremely happy with my hair and my experience, and will definitely be going back to Serena.

Serena is the nicest hair stylist I’ve ever had. She really understand hair, which is hard to say for most in the industry. My hair was very long, poorly shaped and full of split ends. Serena not only rescued me from an out of date look by reshaping my hair and giving me a deep conditioning treatment, she also taught me how to style it on my own. She also offered to pick up supplies for me because I told her I am very busy and would not have time to shop.
Would definitely recommend.
