Scheidel’s Auto Repair and Fleet Service

If I could give less than one star I would. I’m so incredibly disappointed when their service. I was told I needed $ 2500 worth of repairs and that my car was in poor condition and that I should just sell it. Considering my car only has 93,000 miles and it’s a Honda, I know better than that. I had my car towed out for a second opinion and thankfully I did. My car only needed $ 200 worth of work and I found an honest mechanic out of it (In Roseville). After spending over $ 200 at Scheidel’s this time around and over $ 1000 in repairs there last year, I’m pretty disappointed that they are not treating me better. While there, my car also got a huge gash in the tire, which they are stating the tow company did, but I was with the tow truck and my car the entire time, so I know my tire was not flat upon arrival. They are trying to tell me that they had to put air in my tire when it came off the truck, but they didn’t even call to tell me my tire had a gash in it until 2 hours after my car arrived there. They also threw the tow company under the bus, which is pretty sad considering I had fantastic service with the tow company AND they are a well known tow company with AAA. Now on top of the services I already paid for on my car, I also have to pay for a new tire and labor to put on the tire since Scheidel’s won’t take responsibility for their actions. They didn’t have anything to say when I called them out on diagnosing issues on my car that were nonexistent.
